The National Post app that I had on my phone up until a week ago had stopped working. It just loaded a blank white screen. Rebooting my phone didn't work. Re & Re didn't fix the problem, either. Thought I would uninstall the other NP app and try this app instead but everything I want to read also has to be downloaded, at $1.99 per, after signing into the app with my National Post account!! The other app that crapped out on me had provided free reading. NP, so sorry to have to leave you now. 😓

Really deserves 5 stars and would have gotten 5 but the software is occasionally glitchy. Not infrequently the text seems to have difficulty resolving into sharp focus and one has to playaround a bit to urge it to do so. Other wise it is very good and the Post is certainly the best news paper in Canada.

This app really really sucks. Many days there are no links to the articles, which makes me wonder why I bother paying for a national post subscription. And, to top it all off, there is no way to adjust the text size, so be prepared to read your National Post, that you paid for, with a magnifying glass. A truly lousy app, total garbage and shame on national post for doing this to their subscribers. I certainly won't be renewing my subscription

The app gives me an error every single time I use it, that my subscription (which is brand new) has expired. I could sometimes log out & back in again to get it to work, but now that fails too. Emails to them (which is the only way to contact them) go unanswered for weeks. I love the publication, but the app is totally useless. I just wasted my money on this subscription. Don't do the same!

I use this on a phone and laptop. I've given up trying to use it on my desktop. Spotty performance. Often impossible to forward articles. Sometimes slow to download for no apparent reason; another device downloads the same material off the same server in a fraction of the time. Access to article commentaries often unavailable on my phone, sometimes ok. Often impossible to download issues if more than two days old. Most deficiencies can be worked around, but why should this be necessary?

I have read a paper version for many years and have tried reading online. It was not a good experience. l loaded the app for the times the paper is late re: bad weather. I love it and use it regularly. I love the way it lines up columns. I love the way it goes into the article. I love the real paper format. Overall an excellent experience.

Very clugey in Android, the comments are particularly unstable. IOS is much much better.

I can download on my Android phone and tablet fine, but I can't open an article on the phone by clicking the highlighted headlines. The phone is getting old and doesn't support the latest Android version oh, so I suppose that's the reason why. On my tablet, which is next to New, I can expand the articles by clicking the highlighted headline fine, and I can read all of the comments fine, but I can't make any comments of my own or reply to any comments once other people have commented on an articl

Useless still. I am a paper subscriber and can't get into this app. Great idea, but developer must have left years ago. UPDATE: After weeks (months?) of useless "help" I am now offered access to the same edition I received in paper for $1.99. An unhelpful app.

Constant problems with downloads. The app was upgraded and had lots of issues. The Post never bothered to tell it's customers they had issues with the upgrade. No in person help available. Just 24 hour apart email answers.
