What’s new:
Accessing the App when you are offline
You can now use the M-Pesa app even without a data network and it is FREE, please allow FREE SMS messages to be sent and received through the app
Enhanced security
Security measures has been added to restrict the app usage without the SIM card. App will be locked until a secure code is entered to authenticate to allow for SIM free access.
Other improvements:
• You will be able to select contacts as favourites by clicking the star icon
• You will be able to view and set-up reminders to send money and to initiate payments from the reminder
• Transactions charges are displayed on the confirmation screen for Send money, Withdrawal at Agent transactions
• Providing the control back to you to make decision to check account balance every time a request is initiated
• App download and install size reduced by 35%
