It has such good potential to replace physical wallet in the future if the app will be done right. The first thing that should be changed is to start using NFC HCE on all elements. The current mixture of QR-codes, NFC HCE and NFC SIM (which is outdated and doesn't work on all devices) is just messy and non-intuitive.

Cannot use the app. Half the instructions are in Estonian even when English is selected. If you offer a language make sure you support it properly. Usually I'd copy paste into translator, but the text is not selectable! On top of that, font size does not respect device accessibility settings, which is unforgivable in 2020.

Bought the NFC SIM card and added Ühiskaart to the app. Afterwards contactless payments didn't work anymore with Google Pay or Swedbank. Maybe the NFC SIM has problems on Huawei as well. Also wrote to the mTasku email many weeks ago, but they don't respond. Anyway spent some money and time trying to get it to work, but Ühiskaart with the NFC SIM doesn't work properly on my Huawei phone. They should make Ühiskaart work on more phones like the other cards do.

When you will plan to utilize NFC chip built in to the phone? The NFC sim cards are still very rare, but most phones nowadays have NFC feature. This is a modern standard. The question was not only about a Ühiskaart, but also why not to use NFC in parallel with QR codes? Works well with Partner and Alexela cards.

EDIT: The app just pushed me a notification ad in Russian(???) Ühiskaart is relatively very expensive; why do I need to pay again every 2 years? A physical card has no expiry. I also do not understand the need for an NFC SIM: its never explained why its nessecary. The phone's NFC is secure enough for payments but not a transport card? Speaking of tap-to-pay, it hasn't worked for me at all, anywhere, while Swedbank's app does. The terminals just give an error that the "card is unrecognized".

The app is good for a Partnerkaart, but recently Ühiskaart is added to the App and it's too complicated to use (NFC Phone + Telia contract + NFC SIM + 2€ for adding) Why you used an old NFC SIM technology instead of NFC HCE? It's does not make any sense to use it.

Really convenient. Once a payment method and kaubamaja partner card are added to mTasku, grocery shopping can be done with phone only (can leave wallet at home). Now some bills can be also paid with mTasku (like Telia), much more convenient than the 3 Auth steps for paying through internet banking.

Got problems with all kinds of NFC payments like Swedbank and Google pay right after getting the NFC SIM card to use with my Ühiskaart.... So many regrets. No longer able to use my phone's NFC properly. By that I mean my main use for it: payments. Really saddened. :C

If you plan to use it for Ühiskaart, just don't bother. Tried adding Ühiskaart, just does not work although I've got everything it needs. Googled a bit: seems a lot of people have the same issue.
