New update,, no notice,, had to login again,, checking user agreement, not what you want to see when your heading to bed.. Update, screwed up the app. No connection to fan, no directions on how to reset. You need to sign into the App. Then it works. Frustrating, but I like the fan.

I had three fans defined and working with the app. Recently the definitions disappeared and I am unable to recreate them. The MF networks are no longer visible.

EDIT.... Totally unusable app. Terrible. EDIT..... For whatever reason, all three of our fans came online about 4 months ago and now the app and fans function flawlessly. We tried everything under the sun to try and make the app work when they were new but could not make it work. So, two thumbs up, now we can control all three fans from phone, tablet, etc.

Unfortunately this is an unreliable app and very difficult to trouble shoot on your own. I bought 1st fan in 2019. Out of the blue today, the MF App just stopped 'loading' after no recent changes on my Android. It has frequently dropped on my wife's iPhone requiring her to re-login way too often. But this time it worked on hers and not mine. Getting it set-up originally took many hours w/ tech support with information that was not provided in any on-line resources. The biggest difficulty was re-initializing and connecting when I upgraded my router. Reinstalling the MF App did work and avoided another lengthy call to them. It is by far my least favorite app on my phone. The company should systematically assess the issues documented in the multiple low ratings and improve the ease of use, reliability, and on-line documentation.

This app is 🗑️. Only connection is Bluetooth. Doesn't work well with google home. Bluetooth connection is slow. You could connect the fan to wifi but you can't control it once it's connected to wifi. Please fix 1. Connection to wifi 2. Connection to Google home ( also apple home )

The update on 9/10/21 bricked the app. Won't get past the loading screen. My wife and I are both on Android (One Plus and Samsung)...same problem. App used to work reliable with a couple flaws, now nothing.

Had an issue where the app was stuck on the loading screen, reported the issue update was reverted in a couple of days. Fast response time, nice work!

Great fan! Pretty good app. wish ecobee integration was larger, let temp sensors dictate fan running or not.

Zero stars. Still the worst app ever! I periodically relink my 3 Slim fans after they magically go offline. App updates have not fixed this major issue. App may work a few days and then the fans cannot be controlled from app. It says fans are offline. My wifi is strong and consistent. Do NOT buy Modern Forms Fans if you want a smart fan. App is TOTAL garbage with a poor interface. Company needs new app developers. Just look at app ratings from other users. They are 100% true!

I give them credit as the app has steadily improved over the years and now works consistently. Voice control through Alexa still doesn't work. Fan is beautiful.
