Unfortunately Android doesn't have default integrated functionality to notify user periodically about missing calls/messages/other notifications via sound (only LED is blinking). This opensource tool allows to monitor notifications from any applications which are important for You (including missed calls, messangers, SMS, etc) and perform sound reminder periodically Just launch app, allow it to receive notification events, select reminder interval and important applications. That's it. If there are any unhandled notifications from thet selected apps in the statusbar, app will notify You periodically with the notification sound you choose. Space Filler
The app works for me, but only if I manually select the reminder sound. If I leave it set to the default in advance settings I get no sound but I do get the vibration. So I just set it to the same sound as my default sound. Very strange, but it gets the job done. Other things that would make this a 5 start app. I would also like to be able to search the apps listed. I have 100s of items, and it is a pain to locate one by scrolling. I would like the advanced settings check box to stay checked after I exit the app.

Easy to setup, works as designed. Especially nice that you can target which notifications by app to continually ping. Do Not Disturb also blocks it, which is fantastic.

This is nice fill for Android ux fail. However, the app selection is not well done. It could use search and move all selections to top. Also selected apps should be visible outside of the selection screen. The "ring tone" list is just notification sounds. I'd like ring tones as well for serious notifications.

I have had this app for about 2 years. i find it reliable and does what I want it to. controls were not intuitive. but serviceable. I recommend turning it off and then back on after a system update or else it'll break through do not disturb. works great. very satisfied.

I really used to love this app. It kept me from missing texts and calls when I didn't notice the vibration. The recent update makes it REALLY hard to dismiss the reminder which is a problem when I'm driving or busy. I used to be able to swipe the reminder notification away. Now I have to pull down on the notification which doesn't work well if there are several notifications on the device. Response from the developer solved my only issue. 5 stars.

I used this for years on moto G4, got a moto 2020 power and this app over rides my default message alert sound. Can not figure out how to change this. It starts immediately when I receive a text very annoying.

Does not follow "Do Not Disturb" mode: unwanted call (not in Contacts) didn't go through but its Reminders are loud and clear...

I love this app, except that now it keeps reminding me that it reminded me. I can read the message, but it still won't clear the reminder

It's definitely easier to configure than Light Flow, but needs a volume override. I thought this app might be a good replacement for Light Flow -- but not being able to set the repeat notification volume higher than the normal sound/alert volume sizably limits the value of this app for me. In reply to the author's comment: My phone is in vibrate mode except when it's charging (which automatically puts it in DND with only alarms allowed). If MNR uses the alarm channel, I'll never get any sleep!
