Description
Miss Tech 2017 jointly organized by US Embassy under girls in tech program, ICIMOD under the framework of SERVIR Hindu-Kush Himalaya and Nepal Telecommunication Authority[NTA] in partnership with Robotics Association of Nepal[RAN] is a national mass collaboration focused on women technopreneurship that takes place to solve the issue in the society faced by Women with the theme Mountain Women “Transformational Changes Through Technology”. The event embraces collaborative problem solving with a goal of producing relevant solutions to address women needs applicable to women living in Mountain areas.. This is the second time it is being organized in Nepal. This year there will around 5-10 challenges on theme Mountain Women “ Transformational Changes Through Technology “ in five challenge categories: Occupation, Migration, Violence, Social status and Information. Robotics Association Of Nepal is leading this national collaboration along with a number of government and non government collaborators and around 10 local Organization working for Women Empowerment.
