Pointless app unless you're car is newer than July 2018. If not, don't waste your time. My car is 2018, but a few months out, so it's a no go, even though it has mini connect in the vehicle itself. Great to see they're not supporting anything older...

The app (sort of) worked for the first three weeks of buying the car, about a year ago. Even when it worked, its usefulness was questionable at best (you could check the range and the car location). Now my car has been somehow de-registered and I cannot register it again. And now the app doesn't even start. Keep up the good work, BMW! I love the car, but god this app is awful.

The main problem is the lack of set up instructions available. It is really bad. I have got the app largely working now purely by mucking around. A lot has to do with the mini connected website. Allow everything on there seems to be the key. Then provided you have linked the car with the BLUE mini app then it comes to life. The black mini app is the old one. It is still on there adding to the confusion. Parts of the app seem to be things in progress. But I can do some good stuff now.

After installing I opened for the first time and it said 'Something went wrong, try again'. Quality software, NOT. You must know what went wrong so say this rather than a pointless generic error message. Guess this wasn't written/tested properly! Now I need to try and work out what is rubbish and fails. It's not hard to write simple helpful code, I do it for a living!

Absolutely useless app. It worked for a week and by worked I mean I could see the information of my car, no other functions worked or were even visible. Now, all I get is a blank white screen. BMW should be ashamed, I have purchased a brand new Mini Countryman and cannot even connect my phone. Let alone all of the reviews below and not a single response from anyone at BMW or an update.

Won't allow me to add my vehicle by vin. Can't connect anything with the app so don't have access to all the features. I have purchased the car so should be able to add my vehicle. Paid for the navigation and downloaded the mini connected but nothing. So frustrating that you can't use the car as it should be used just because of an app that doesn't work and only tells you that you can not add this vehicle to your account. Why not. Its my car. Will this be resolved BMW?

It's probably the worst car app I've ever seen. Over USB, the system doesn't communicate with the android apps (eg. Spotify). Over Bluetooth, it takes ages to connect and it's extremely unstable. And that on a car that is still under warranty. Support is extremely unhelpful and they literally told me that there's nothing they can do. This is the first andadt Mini I'm driving.

Poor experience with this app in all honesty. I can see other people being able to monitor all sorts of things about their car, but mine doesn't seem to do such things. Tried installing and reinstalling, gone through permissions and all, to no avail. Connects and displays the stats at the connection time, and that's about it. Nothing else. Could do with starting the ventilation system in morning before going to work to warm up the car, but doesn't seem to allow me to do so. Pity...

Used the previous version which was terrible, noticed it had recently been updated so thought I'd give it a go. Unfortunately the app won't add my car via VIN digits (it worked previously), I see looking at other reviews I'm not the only one (also have the same problem on my iPhone although after complaining a while it starts to work) Why can't we have Android Auto? Works great on my other car, seriously considering not buying another Mini because I'm so used to/dependent on Android Auto.

If I could afford it 0 star I would as 1 star is too much. Installed and briefly loaded for a week on my android, but all it showed was a picture of my car and how many miles I'd completed. None of the other functions worked, it then updated and since then all I get is the brief mini logo screen,the spinning thingy and then a white screen. Useless, with no CD player in my mini, the so called high tech technology should work so as I can at least play music. Shameful mini, come on.
