Adaptation to the new corporate design of the SCS and fix of minor errors
Description
Hipot -CNV Tool, facilitates comunication to persons unable to express themselves, either by illness or language barrier. The application is composed of pictograms and synthesized voice. Initially designed for hospital use in patients with aphasia or ICU, can also be used anytime, anyplace, by foreigners as a basic translator.
Text is available in six languages: Spanish, English, French, German, Chinese and Arabic.
First version includes more than 100 sets of images and words divided into categories based
on criteria of Health Care by Functional Patterns. Each set will include an icon and a male and female voice.
The idea ,design and voice sets(in the field of Nursing Care) are copyright Manuel Verdugo Paez ,licensed by Creative Commons (Winner Best Project ,poster format, at the Sixteenth National Congress Infors@lud 2013,Congress Nursing Informatics, Inforenf, Madrid 2013).
Sounds used in the application have been created and recorded, using voice synthesis software , by Manuel Verdugo Paez. Images are by Maria Jose Izquierdo Malmierca.
