Description
For bus and rail travel in West Yorkshire, the MCard app will let you buy, load and check travel tickets anytime, anywhere using an Android smartphone. It doesn’t even have to be yours!
This app is perfect for those who are always on the go; top up your MCard from the comfort of your own home, whilst waiting in line for your morning coffee or when out shopping with friends - it’s that easy.
Now for the techy stuff… your android phone must have NFC (Near Field Communication) connectivity for the app to work.
To enable NFC on your phone, go to “Settings” and search for the NFC setting in Wireless & Network settings.
Once it’s enabled, you’re good to go and can start using the phone to load an Under 16 or 16 – 18 PhotoCard (blue), Pink MCard or 19 – 25 or Student MCard (green) with travel tickets.
