Apologies from the dev team is nice, fixing all the functionality that was gutted months ago would be nicer. I miss being able to read comics. It's so sad when a wonderful thing is ruined. This update yikes. I miss the old sorting system. Why can't I filter out the things I've already read? This is terrible. Edit: really sick of this new sorting disaster. If I hadn't paid for a year just in August I'd be done with this service. Just go elsewhere. This is so incredibly disappointing.

I've been actively using the MU app for little over a year now. The recent overhaul was needed and added some decent functionality, while also removing some of the good things the app had going for it. One feature I really miss is the ability to hide comics you've already finished out of a list. I would also love to be able to see the entire chronology of certain characters, or have the app tell me what comics I should have read go be up to date before starting certain storylines.

I have been a subscriber for years and this last update is terrible. You have to know what you are looking for or else you will never find it. They gutted the options for just browsing for something to read. The loading of the comics isn't responsive at all. And could we please get annuals mixed in with the series they go with? I hate getting halfway into an issue or storyline and realizing I missed a fairly crucial annual.

Updated to the new version on my tablet (Tab S) and can't use the app. Immediately crashes after opening. Update: The Search By Date option has seemingly been removed, leaving me unable to find the issues that I didn't have a chance to read from last week. Update 2: I was automatically logged out of my account on my phone, and the system no longer allows me to log in. This app is now less than useless. Would give zero stars if possible.

Why can't I sort when I search by character/series/etc.? Nothing is sortable when you search for it. Can you explain the logic behind this? The user experience of this app is terrible. So many problems and illogical decisions after the overhaul. The issue is, the normal features of an app are lost. I don't understand why you've done this.

This app is absolutely trash. Turning from one page to the next oftentimes takes up the 30 seconds or more. The app crashes if you try to turn from one page to the next often also. Then it takes you back to the very beginning of the comic and you have to try to find out where you were which only adds for the frustration since you have to wait 30 seconds to turn the page. It's unreal that you charge money for such a frustrating product. I expect better from Marvel. Zero stars. 😡

Marked 1 star for the new update. While it looks pretty, the navigation has got very hard. There is no way to navigate back to the main selection screen. The back button just keeps scrolling back comics you have read. If you read a few comics in a row, and want to change series, its easier to hard exit app and reload, which is far from ideal.

The app has finally been fixed so that it doesn't repeatedly crash and all images load properly. Not increasing my rating though, and still may not be renewing my membership. Firstly, I've lost a whole month of reading from my year long membership with no compensation. Secondly, I was reading all of specific characters' appearances in chronological order before the update. It was relatively simple in the app's previous iteration. The new search tools have completely ruined that ease of use.

As a fan of all things Marvel I'm beyond elated this app exist. All the comics one could want, both old and new,at such an affordable price too. You can't beat that. As a teen I easily blew fifty big ones at my local comic shop. One could only imagine how much that would be now. Thank the Ten Realms this app exist. Make mine Marvel til the day I die; nuff said!

  10. Brian Mulherin-avatar

Recently ruined, this app used to be functional. Now you've got to hunt down your previously started comics. If you don't quit a series mid-comic, then you have to use the search function to find the title again. And God forbid you try to read an infinity comic, because it will never disappear from your in-progress list. Idiots keep ruining things that work fine, and for what?
