MamaBear Family Safety

The MamaBear app is a companion app and parent monitoring portal for the Grom Social app.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to monitor your child's activity on Grom Social only the parent/guardian will need to download the MamaBear app, create a child profile and register the Grom account. The child does not need to download the MamaBear App.

With the MamaBear app, parents can chat privately with family members who are logged into the MamaBear app, as well as monitor and set permissions for their children's activities on the Grom Social app including:
Followers of your child
Who your child follows
Your child's live posts
Comments your child makes
Comments your child receives

Children in the family who have the MamaBear app downloaded on their mobile device can privately message their parent or guardian through the app.

Setting up the MamaBear app can be completed in three steps:

1. A parent installs MamaBear on their smartphone and registers their family's account.

3. Parents log in to their child's Grom Social account in MamaBear to customize permission and monitoring preferences.

2. Other Guardians and Children of the family can download and install the MamaBear app directly from the app store and log in to MamaBear with the primary guardian's password for private messaging capabilities.
