What's new
The app has been completely rebuilt from the ground up. In this release, we focused on fixing the still capture saving that many of you reported as broken. The current version offers a minimum set of core features, and we are actively working to bring back all the functionality from the previous build. Thank you for your patience and feedback!

***** Important Update for Magic Sony ViewFinder app ******
1. WE HAVE REWORKED THE APP. We were aware that older Android updates have caused issues with saving still images in the app. We are sorry and we want you to know – this is fixed now. We are rebuilding the app from the ground up to ensure full compatibility with the latest Android versions.
2. TEST THE NEW APP. The new app has less features than it used to have, but we are working to bring them back. We especially need your confirmation that image capture is working reliably on your device. If saving photos works for you now, please let us know in a review or feedback — it helps us enormously.
3. WHAT FEATURES NEXT? The app currently includes live camera preview, frame guides, and image capture. Many more features are on the way. If there is a feature from the current version that you rely on and would like to see prioritized, please tell us in your feedback. Your input directly shapes what we build next.

PLEASE READ: this app does not turn your smartphone into an external monitor, but operates as a stand-alone directors viewfinder.

The app is a digital director's viewfinder -- it helps you see the exact field of view for your future shot. Select the camera from the menu and rotate the wheel to select the focal length of the lens.
