With the goal of reaching out to large numbers of smartphone users, the new mAadhaar is released by the Unique Identification Authority of India. The App features an array of Aadhaar services and a personalized section for the Aadhaar holder who can carry their Aadhaar information in form of a soft copy, instead of carrying a physical copy all the time. The key features in mAadhaar: Multilingual : In order to ensure the Aadhaar Services are accessible to linguistically diverse residents of India, the menu, button labels and form fields are provided in English as well as in 12 Indian languages (Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannad, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu). After installation, the user will be prompted to select any of the preferred languages. However, the input fields in the forms will accept data entered in the English language only. This is done to help the user avoid facing the challenges of typing in regional languages (due to limitations in the mobile keyboards). Universality: Resident with or without Aadhaar can install this App in their smart phones. However to avail personalized Aadhaar services the resident will have to register their Aadhaar Profile in the App. Aadhaar Online Services on Mobile: The mAadhaar user can avail the featured services for themselves as well as for any other resident seeking Aadhaar or related help. The functionalities are broadly grouped as : o Main Service Dashboard: Direct access to download Aadhaar, Order a Reprint, Address Update, Download offline eKYC, Show or Scan QR Code, Verify Aadhaar, Verify mail/email, retrieve UID/EID, Request for Address Validation Letter o Request Status Services: To help resident check status of various online requests o My Aadhaar: This is a personalized section for Aadhaar holder where the resident will not have to enter their Aadhaar number to avail Aadhaar services. In addition, this section also provides facility for the resident to lock/unlock their Aadhaar or Biometric Authentication. Aadhaar Locking – Aadhaar holder can lock their UID/Aadhaar number anytime they wish. Biometric locking/unlocking secures biometric authentication by locking biometrics data. Once resident enables Biometric Locking system their biometric remains locked till the Aadhaar Holder chose to either unlock it (which is temporary) or Disable the Locking system. TOTP generation – Time-based One-Time Password is an automatically generated temporary password that can be used instead of SMS based OTP. Update of profile – To updated view of Aadhaar profile data after successful completion of update request. Sharing of QR code and eKYC data by Aadhaar Number holder helps Aadhaar users share their password-protected eKYC or QR code for safe and paperless verification. Multi-profile: Aadhaar holder can include multiple (up to 3) profiles (with the same registered mobile number) in their profile section. Aadhaar Services on SMS ensures Aadhaar holder avail Aadhaar services even when there is no network. Locate Enrolment Center helps the user find the nearest Enrolment Center.

This never worked after the update, it keeps giving error unable to reach authentication service to serve you OTP. It's been months and tried more than 100 times at different times hoping it might work, but still keeps getting same message. Tried all possibilities that a user could do without success.

Unable add profiles. Always say something went wrong, try later. If it doesn't work why adding profile option given. Very pathetic app. Everytime I use after 1-2 months it never opens. Shows dialogue of technical difficulty and asking to check our internet connection. Boss all other apps of the world are working absolutely fine with this network except this. It gets hanged abd no option except uninstall, install and configure again. Really disappointed. Third class app. Still Not working...

I want to add my son & my daughter profile to my aadhar, But everytime I click the + button, I get an error message "something is wrong, please try after sometime". No matter how many time i tried, it is not allowing me to add. getting error always. This issue i'm facing since last 4-5 months. I thought there might be some updates going in backend. But it is still giving me same error. Very poor quality of APP How much more time you people are going to take to resolve the issue ???? Any ETA Any further update on this. How much more time it need to correct the error messages we are getting

This is the worst app I've ever used. Not working properly always unable to send OTP. Every time while logging in shows something went wrong. It should be updated as soon as possible because it is a very important application for Indians. @UIDAI it is a humble request for you to either remove this app or fix the glitches present in it. It makes me furious every time I use it.

App ui is good. But server problems.. While checking aadhar update status, app saying "Due to some technical problems your request could not be processed, please try after some time". Trying from last 3 days, same issue occurrs, but it's working fine on website. Not working for me. App endpoints has some issue. Finally Uninstalling the app, and good to go with Website.

Not sure if this is a genuine app or a scam, applied for address update more than a month ago, the fee was also deducted, but since then there is no change in the request status, still showing 'processing'. Lost a month's time and don't know where to follow up.

It is the worse than before. Every time response we are experiencing technical difficulties getting for last four days or unable to generate otp. Worse app. I am trying too add one of my family member in aadhar but response every time is same technical error. email from crm is fantastic. You say something,crm answers something else. Still error something went wrong etc.

It's useful but not working as i expected there is lot of delayed in every action, aadhaar download from website is also not easy ... Sometimes the captcha not showing even you refresh page or you have good internet connection the issue is same... If the captcha appears mistakenly then the OTP not received quickly even you have good sim operator.... If you got otp too then it shows backend error.... Was it happened only with me or other as well? Why this is happening? Why we are facing this?

No use app. Same issue exists for more than a year. App always pops up "something went wrong". I could not login even tried many times. Developers have not rectified the issue to login.issues in the last year Reviews are still there. Uninstalled.

Very worse app. It never works. Always showing alerts like "Due to technical issue", or "Something went wrong" or "Our team is working on it". I tried to turn off biometric settings last 3 weeks. But i could not able to do. Also all the api calls are very very slow. Remembering me 1990s. Also same issue with website too
