This has has worked well on some devices. Unfortunately not my latest mobile- as with the comments below- black screen with a slither of home screen to one side. Worth a punt though.

I bought and installed this extension for my installed Marine Compass app. I checked the "Augmented reality" check box but get only a compass on a black background, no camera scene at all. My Droid Camera app works fine standalone. I emailed the developer and may increase my rating when I hear from him.
