don't waste your time. this app no longer able to call. I don't think they even update it anymore. such a disappointment. I just test it with 20 dollar credit and it's not working again 3/31/19

I had unused credits about 15$, but after a period I saw that my balance was 0, I send them a message about my issue, but they told that after a year they take my unused credits. What a Steeler they are, I will never use this app again, if you want a bad service and want lose your credit then come and use their bad service. Deserve five zeros.

I've used Localphone for many years and it was quite good until a year or so ago I. recent years the service has become very poor yet the cost has rocketed. The system is very quick to dock your money, often even when the call hasn't connected. Trying to get redress from Customer Service is fraught with problems, and the operatives' accents are sometimes impossible to understand, so you end up giving up. You are better off trying another prepay phone app or card if you do not want to waste your money and time - this service in not worth a bother.

Used it for years but the quality has gone down some of the issues are (1) it will use your data or wifi to dial from the app and the quality is horrible. (2) you can't get a local number for a contact for faster dialing. (3) it will not allow to add credit from the app.

I tried using the test call (5minutes) but everytime I tried I wasn't able to connect, the phone at the other end didn't ring at all. I tried again a few days later and the 5 minutes credit where gone. I don't think this is a reliable app to call overseas. I'm going back to S-kype.

Installed and used straight away the dial keypad, then been direct to use my own mobile network without any warning and caused a very expensive bill for me. Sent complaint letter to customer service, just saying it is my fault to disable some stupid setting, while I didn't touch any setting. Refusing refund credits and compensate. Never use again and recommend don't even download it.

I have used localhone for years and hate to say it, but localhone have decided to make a perfectly working app worthless. Previous app had the option to select either WiFi, cellular or GSM on phone to make a call. This app decides to use data all the time.

Sadly the app I had installed just closed on me every time, so updated and it's just the same....it will not open, so I cannot use the service. I don't require it as I used to when I first signed up, but of course that doesn't mean I never will require it, so I hope there's a fix very soon and back to 5 stars.

Just tried them again after being happy with them 2 years or more ago, however, tried calling several times to Malta. Dialled the number, rang a few times and answered.... no voice was heard! After email, they said they couldn't hear me either. Can't see how to get hold of customer services from the APP Shame as I still have credit with them. Please get in touch?

I have been using this for almost 5 years. This new update has made it worse. Call connects no voice can be heard from others. Credit gets deducted. Can't add contacts through app.Messaging has been removed.
