The scanner is extremely simple to use, just point your camera at the QR code you want to scan and within a second you'll get the encrypted data.
The scanner is capable of reading all types of codes that exist; url, contacts, text, wi fi, location, calendar, phones, text messages, etc. After scanning it, the application will give you the relevant options for each type of QR, that is, if the code is a url, the application will give you the option to open the url, if it is a phone number, the application will give you the option to call that phone number, and so on for each type.
