LCARS Star Trek theme for Go Launcher Ex and Apex Launcher Pro. ** There seems to be a problem with some users where the theme does not appear or is not selectable on Go Launcher Ex. Apparently Google Play has a problem with downloads of themes like mine and not due to any fault of the theme. Please email me if you face this situation after purchase ** ** IMPORTANT NOTE ** This theme is only usable for phones with GO Launcher EX installed. Search “GO Launcher EX” on Google Play Shop and install it for free. "Apex Launcher Pro" apparently provides some support compatibility for the theme as well. Inspired as a fan of Star Trek, I wanted to customise my phone to resemble something similar to a Star Trek LCARS console. Now you can too when using this theme with "Go Launcher Ex" (free for download, on Google Play). "Apex Launcher Pro" (paid version claims support for the theme too). Please note however that the theme may not entirely look the same as the screenshots, when using Apex Launcher. ** Customisation tips and suggestions for Go Launcher Ex** The screenshots shown, are based on a 5x5 grid from Go Launcher's menu->preferences->Screen settings->Grid size. Up to 14 wallpapers optimised for portrait view, and 3 new wallpapers designed for landscape. All in HD. And LOTS of icons to choose from. App icon labels can also be hidden on the same settings page. Examples can be seen on the screenshots. An invisible icon is also included for more flexible customisation and placement of app icons. If wallpaper is set to scroll on portrait mode, it is best to set an odd number (1,3, 5 or 7 etc) of screens for icons to align with the wallpaper's LCARS design. Feel free to experiment with the different wallpapers, wallpaper mode (scrolls with screen or fixed), under Preferences->Visual settings->Backgrounds and many other Go Launcher features. As much as I would like to, I am unable to add sounds to the theme, as I am limited to what Go Launcher Ex can do. To Apply the Theme - Directly open the theme after successful installation. - Or in your Go Launcher homescreen, select Menu > Theme, choose the theme and apply it to your phone. To Change Wallpaper - Click Menu > Wallpaper, and select Go Wallpaper where you can select the theme's background you prefer. To Change App Icons (over 88 choices in the latest version) - Long press on app icon > Replace > Theme’s icon, and then choose the icon you prefer. This is an excellent representation of the LCARS terminals on the Enterprise-D, but the icons too closely match the background. Everything seems to blend in and it can be difficult to tell which app one is selecting, unless you happen to have your home screens memorized (I don't, but some people may). Otherwise, the theme is wonderfully thought out and the custom icons are nice. Yes, there was an issue with downloading from Google Play, but the developer responded within twenty minutes to my request for aid

This is the theme I've always dreamed about. I had the same installation issue a lot of people have but the developer emailed me back right away with the easy fix and I now have a beautiful LCARS phone AND tablet. The App icons are great. There's even one for your E-reader! Worth every penny.

Didn't work when I first downloaded. Like he said Google play had some problem with it, but emailed the creator. He got promptly back to me and helped me get it working. Now its working like a dream and this fan girl is so happy.

Well worth the small fee. Take some time getting it set up the way you want it and be the envy of any Trek fans. Definitely use 5 screens and scroll the wallpaper. Screen shot the Federation emblem wallpaper on an empty screen after turning off status bar and hiding the dock and use as wallpaper for the lock screen.

Great LCARS look and feel. Perfect for my Note 2. I had the issue where the Google Play Store version didn't install. I emailed the author and he got back to me pronto and fixed me up. I combined this with sounds off a Star Trek sound board- now I have the look, feel and sound of an LCARS pad!

My tablet is so cool now. I can't wait to show my trekker friends at work. I had problems getting go launcher to find the theme, but Terence was on top of things and got me hooked up on Christmas day. Talk about great Customer service!

Had problems installing due to Jelly Bean, but after I emailed him, he responded with a fix same-day. Theme is pretty awesome. Now it's almost like my tablet is closer to the ones in Star Trek which is cool. Only problem is Some of the icons don't show up in the selection menu. Also I would love to see more wallpapers and icons to choose from. Looking forward to any updates!

If you're a fan I'd the Star Trek LCARS system look no further! I highly recommend this theme and it's creator. I has some initial problems installing the theme but one e-mail from its creator and the problem is solved. Now my phone looks exactly like a Star Trek LCARS display, I'm very happy with my purchase!!! Thanks Again for your help getting this theme installed!!

Took some tweaking to make it look how I wanted and had to make some more buttons, but perfect. Only real issue is I had to download GoLauncher EX from their website as I kept getting Z when downloading from the store. Can't update GoLauncher either now or I'll lose my theme. Lol

I love this theme! I was unsure how it would do on my nexus 7 tablet vs my HTC phone, and at first it wouldn't open or show up in go launcher but I just shot the developer an email and about an hour later he had the fix. I'm very very happy with this app. Really hoping he makes an app just for tablets (and go launcher willing with sounds!) For now I use a STNG sound board that works just fine. But thanks again for the awesome theme!
