Opening Your Account:
[Step 1: Verification of Your e-mail Account]
•We will send an e-mail to verify your e-mail address.
•Check your e-mail account to see if you receive an e-mail from Kyodai Remittance. Open the link with “Kyodai App”.

[Step 2: Customer Registration]
•Register yourself as a sender. You will be requested to take a photo of (1) a residence card (zairyu card) if you are a foreign national and (2) My Number card. You will upload your selfies in a neutral expression and in an expression randomly designated by App.

[Step 3: Beneficiary Registration]
•Enter your beneficiary details.
•Decide on the mode of payment to the beneficiary, which can be (i) credit to a bank account or (ii) cash pick-up at a payout location near your beneficiary. Decide on the best mode of the payment with your beneficiary.

[Step 4: Verification by Kyodai]
•Wait for Kyodai to welcome you on board. As soon as we verify the data, we approve your new membership.

[Step 5: Log in as New Member]
•Once approved, log into Kyodai App to find the current FX rate and an estimator.
•Do not edit the registered data unless you really need to. Every time you edit, Kyodai will make a verification, resulting in a delay in the process.

[Step 6: Pre-advice of Wire Transfer / Denshin Furikomi]
•You are now able to make a wire-transfer (Denshin Furikomi) to Kyodai’s bank account at Japanese banks.
•Make a furikomi to us and let us know the details via Kyodai App, such as the amount, the time and date, the originating bank etc. Make a furikomi only in your name.
•That’s all! As soon as we receive your furikomi, we process your request.
