Ökotool Wundversorgung der ÖGK

The "Ökotool Wundversorgung" app of the Austrian Health Insurance Fund (ÖGK) Oberösterreich is aimed at upper Austrian physicians who wish to prescribe wound care products for extramural use for ÖGK patients.
It provides an overview of products for the treatment of acute and chronic skin wounds, which can be prescribed at the expense of the ÖGK. Through regular updates, the current rate list wound care is recorded.

The Ökotool app supports the following search variants:
• Search for dressing name
• Search for Central Pharmaceutical Number
• Search for product group

The result list clearly shows the product you are looking for as well as alternatives of the same product group. The list can be restricted by specifying the desired product size (small, medium, large) or packaging size (small, medium, large).

The bandages are displayed in ascending order according to the ranking in the price comparison. The cheapest products are marked in green. If products are marked in red in the result list, there is basically no cost assumption.
This also applies to products that are not included in the list.

Whether it is necessary to obtain a permit is indicated by character combinations: If the column "Bew" is empty, the product is freely writable. For "*" a permit is required if two packs are ordered. "CH" stands for approval.

With a double-click on the product name, extended information is available, for example for indication or application instructions.

In addition to the area of ​​wound care, the app offers similar functions for the area of ​​medication. The basis is the reimbursement code of the Austrian health insurance carriers.
