This app contains the industry proof ixMAT barcode and DataMatrix scanning technology combined with the ZXing GUI and QR decoder. Scan barcodes, look them up in the web or in a book store, search for products, read contact info and add them to your contacts, or find locations on a map. You can also share contacts by displaying the contact details as a 2D code that can be scanned by somebody else. This is why the app needs the contact access permission. Please note that your privacy is preserved (see http://android-services.com/ixmat/privacy.html ). Tip: You can resize the view finder window with your fingertip on the touch screen according to your code symbol after launching ixMAT to get fast and optimum results!
