Overview iVMS-4500 (Android) mobile client software, which is designed for mobile phone on the basis of Android OS (Version 4.0 or higher), can be used to remotely monitor the live video from embedded DVR, NVR, network camera, network speed dome and encoder via wireless network, play back record files, locally store and manage pictures and videos, control alarm output and realize PTZ control as well. With this software installed in your phone, you are able to log onto the front-end device via Wi-Fi or 3G; besides, if there is no public IP available for the device, it’s accessible by using a dynamic domain name, or by mapping ports to the public IP of router. Notes: 1.Wi-Fi, 2G or 3G access service must be supported by the phone. 2.Network traffic charges may be produced during the use of this client software. Please refer to the local ISP. Resolution Support Phone: 480*800, 480*854, 960*540, 1280*720, 800*1280 or 1920*1080 Note 1.The live view effect is related to the performance of the network and phone hardware. If the live view is not fluent or the screen appears blurred, please reduce the resolution, frame rate and bitrate of the camera, or decrease the image quality in the software.

Horrible! Zero customer service. Suddenly stopped working awhile back and nothing we have tried allows us to view the cameras. My mom got this so that us kids could check on her and my dad and now none of us can get in. He is disabled and we would keep an eye on him while she took the dog out or worked in the garden. Stuff like that. It randomly tells us that the password was incorrect or that the connection failed. Now it is telling me the account is frozen. Yes we reinstalled. SUCKS!

Works, but horrible ptz zoom option. We need a + and - as an option. It takes days to zoom in and out with the pinch zoom option. I've tried quick pinches and slow pinches but the zoom level hardly changes. Highly annoying and defeats the purpose of being able to zoom on a point of interest in timely matter.

Worked good until 18-9-2021. Now it's has logged out and gives error on login screen, some glitch in the app. Also it used to shut automatically at times, never been consistent. But now not working at all, other users also have same issue. Have tried reinstalling many times, but not working!!!

Recently from 18 September onwards app was not working for some reason and I was not able to see my home and surrounding when I was away from my home and I thought it is some problem with my device or internet connection... But after reading a review of a user about this app I just uninstalled hikconnect first and then again reinstalled this app...after logging in app is now working fine. So I also suggest hik connect users if they are facing same problem just unistall and reinstall same app

Does not show live stream nor playback, since morning of 18/09/21. Log in failed shows, "http status 404- oauth/authorize", description "The requested source not available". Attn : Hik connect users, while delving through the inaccibility of my security cams, it's found that downloading Hik-connect app direct from Hik-connect web site is worth installing. This app is about 140 MB. Version 4.18.0.0831. It has better accessiblity, & more controls than iVMS. Note: instal the app manually.

I can not synchronise the date and time it says that my version is old but there is no update, and because the date is wrong it's 2012, therefore I can not go back in the recordings.

I am surprised with such poor other reviews. Sometimes.it takes time to show the cameras, but mostly the app works fine. Some chinese device shows always, but does not provide video stream, dunnonwhat that is for

This app suddenly stopped. We were cracking our heads on Dvd, Router etc... Later un installed iVMS-4500 completely from mobile. Re installed today this App, and after log in everything work fine! For remote station customers, it was a daunting task to trouble shoot! Hope all bugs are fixed now!

What happened to IVMS software it's not working. Devices are in online but in ivms not showing live. I got somaney complaints from my costumers. Yesterday suddenly stopped all the ivms softwares in customers phones and PC, laptopa. I was tried to loging in Hikvision software. but no use in that also showing devices but not opening live. So please find out the problem and resolve it as soon as possible.

Excellent app Simple to use can easily leave my tablet running 247 on live stream as an installer its probably the best system i have ever used hikvision and its relatives hiwatch annke etc. Installation of the nvr DVR a piece of cake if thiers a probem its your network not the system 10/10 for a budget system that offers high end and affordable system.
