The application makes it easy to access antimicrobial prescribing guidelines to treat a wide variety of common infectious diseases and prophylaxis guidelines for various procedures and conditions. Underpinning the application is out commitment to improving antimicrobial stewardship for our patients. There are a vast number of clinical guidelines available in a number of different places which are not always easily accessible to prescribers. The application brings these together with a number of tools to ensure our patients get the right choice of antibiotic and the right dose whilst minimising the risk of side effects. Infections allows users to access guidelines without the need for an internet connection. Infections provides fast and convenient access to a wide range of clinical guidelines and infection tools.
