The application makes it easy to access antimicrobial prescribing guidelines to treat a wide variety of common infectious diseases and prophylaxis guidelines for various procedures and conditions. Underpinning the application is out commitment to improving antimicrobial stewardship for our patients.
There are a vast number of clinical guidelines available in a number of different places which are not always easily accessible to prescribers. The application brings these together with a number of tools to ensure our patients get the right choice of antibiotic and the right dose whilst minimising the risk of side effects.
