I have a couple nature apps but always end up coming back to iNaturalist because its the most dependable source of information regarding plants in my area other than books. My only suggestion would be to add a tag for native, non native naturalized plants and invasive plants. A little extra information goes a long way :)

i love inaturalist! it's super useful for identifying things you want to learn more about, or for finding where you might see something in your area. sometimes the app uploads things more than once or uploads something with incomplete data when i've filled it all out, which can be a bit frustrating, but otherwise it's wonderful.

I love this app, the only thing I wish to change is the ability to upload video of animals. I saw a wasp dragging an insect and video taped its behavior which would be nice to share. Similarly, caterpillars moving too fast for still shots so I took video. And many others. Not only would this help with species range data but it can also start a datasets of animal behaviors which we behaviorists can go to and evaluate for research quality.

Hi guys, love your website but seem unable to filter by species name or sequence by species name in the app which makes it almost impossible to find what I'm looking for. The only option seems to be to have to scroll through every observation in the area? Let me know if this is intentional or if I'm missing something? Thanks PS all the online help also only seems to relate to the website?

Very cool app for nature photography enthusiasts. Updates a little slowly, and for some reason, my photos from before a previous date are no longer showing. I'm wondering if the app needs an update, but my mobile device isn't showing any updates available. Could be my phone.

iNaturalist has opened up the natural world for me in my garden and in my neighbourhood. So much to discover and learn right at my feet. As long as I manage to capture a good quality photo, with the support of AI and the expert naturalists across the world who also use this app, I can confidently identify virtually any species that crosses my path. Amazing!

I love this app! It's nice to find out plants and animals you are so used to seeing but don't know their names! I use it all the time since yesterday when I got it. I like how it thoroughly checks it really is that species. I can see where the species is most commonly found and find out more about it.

Love the concept but execution is mediocre at best. The app is often slow to load, uploads the same photo/entry multiple times, deletes photos from older entries (sometimes lost forever), and lacks basic functions like being able to "follow" other users.

All of the identifications I have made have been really accurate, absolutely love this app. Ever since getting I have been outdoors much more and am getting all my friends into it.

Very good app. But please, do not make me type continuously in the tell us about yourself option. I mean can you please give an update where the tell us about yourself is replaced by the things i wrote and i can easily edit. Thanks for solving the issue.May I be assured that in the next update that you can record videos and upload them on INaturalist?Thank you for your kind attention.
