To prevent adverse impacts of solar radiation on people, scientists have developed a vaccine, which rebuilt the DNA structure in a way that a person could easily endure direct ultraviolet radiation. The group of tested people has demonstrated good results; they could go outside and be exposed to sunlight up to eight hours without health effects. The vaccine started to be massively produced and applied. But something went wrong.

Rebuilding the DNA structure caused irreversible changes in human behavior. People who had been vaccinated began to show aggression and attack other people.
The rioting started and human civilization, which already suffered from the solar cataclysm, was completely devastated. There are only rare groups of survivors who have not been vaccinated for various reasons..
