La multiple authentification, plus communément appelée authentification à facteurs multiples ou l'authentification multi-facteurs (Multi-factor authentication en anglais, MFA) exige, quant à elle, plusieurs preuves d'identité.
Description
The two-step verification ensures the authenticity of the person behind an account by only allowing authentication after presenting two separate proofs of identity.
In general, a one-time code must be entered in addition to the usual password of the user.
If it is not correct, the authentication fails even if the password entered corresponds to the one connected to the account.
