    When I tried to open the app it says "cannot connecting to hooq please try again later" it's kinda annoying and an inconvenience when you want to watch a movie and don't get me started on the loading, it takes forever. And in hooq you can create your own watchlist, that's a plus for me.

    INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING APP. Does not automatically load the next episode of the show that you're watching and doesn't mark or tell you what episode you've already watched. When continuing a show/movie, it doesn't always load from the time where you left off and will start the show from the very beginning. Also, the 15 second rewind/forward button will sometimes take you at the start of the show or at the very end.

    Worst app of all time. The app keeps crashing all the time. Most of the times their player doesn't work. I paid money for their subscription. But they have let me down big time. Please do NOT download this app. You can't watch any videos online. And definitely cannot watch your own downloads. Poor app quality, especially for a paif subscription.

    With my favourites films and series gone from this app, currently I don't think this app is good enough to garner more stars. Also, the rental movies "feature" is hideous, when you have a subscription-based model. You should (must) only choose one of the business model. To have both, just shows you how greedy you are. There is however some good point from this app, cable TV and some premium series is quite decent (at best)

    After recent updates I can't even make a subscription. Every time I pick option free trial using credit card, there's only a blank white page afterwards. I tried to subscribe using OVO or phone credit balance but the result was just the same, only white blank page appears. HOOQ, you don't want my money and my subscription? Could anyone solve this problem? It's quite annoying and it sucks beyond belief. After waiting for a couple of days I could manage to subscribe to HOOQ. Now I upgrade the rating to 5. Thank you HOOQ.

    Thought, it's like a 1 minute privileged to watch your TV streaming, and then I lost that 'ticket'. The picture was freezed, and almost all tv channels like this. Ya, honestly, I only have less than 1 minute to watch and to enjoy the TV, then freezed. So, what's quota for? Felt like my quota was abandoned. Compared to other TV streaming, HOOQ was really bad.     I really enjoy using Hooq App. But at times due to low memory I was forced a to do factory reset on all of my devices multiple times. Because of it I'm not able to access the App. It says "You have reached maximum number of linked devices. You will need to log out of your devices to add a new device [2203]" Kindly fix this issue as soon as possible.

    You could have done wonders but you had to make it bad? why?. i watch it using WiFi at 100Mbps and it shows content with low quality whereas same doesn't happen in any other streaming app. it also keeps saying well this is embarrassing, we're unable to play this file,why? no idea. i try to watch the same on internet on my laptop and even on LAN cable it shows at low quality. unsubscribing unless it's fixed

    Very disappointed with this app. Netflix is has good service whenever we email them a problem they revert as much in less time.. But this app is not good.. Only here to make some money with bad service. I had paid payment for this app and unable to view video it show "title is not available in your region(4002)" and i had complaints them they are not responding. Such a fraud app...

    if you watch the tv channel, even if you are subscribed, you'll get ads. and there's no moderation for the ads whatsoever. ads EVERY SINGLE TIME you switch channels. guess what happens when you got dc or error and the channel refresh? MORE ADS! it's like a flood of the same ads over and over. i get it that you need money to maintain all that channels and shows, but please show some moderation. 1 ad every hour or so, or maybe even two. it isn't hard to code that. i feel like i waste my money here

    hi team, there is good content but there are couple of problems with the app. 1. On galaxy s9, you don't have an option for full screen. 2. Why do you need internet to view the content which i have already downloaded. What's the point of downloading if your app is still browsing it through mobile data. 3. Most of the time downloads stuck midway n never completes. Please fix these things or answer them at least so that i get to know if it's by design or an error.

    I love this app. It has a great selection of films/series. However, there are a view things that bugs me. First, the download feature sometimes doesn't work (very rarely, but it happens). I downloaded a couple movies and went to the download section after but they're not there. Second, while the regular subscription can be paid using various options (including your balance and OVO), this does not go for the rent ones. I just wish that there are more payment options for the rented ones.

I subscribe, stream well mostly with occasional glitch "player error" but the availability of shows with download options need load of improvement. Download speed is very slow and needs to improve. Stability of the player for streaming can be improved.

    The best movie/tv show app out here in the Philippines in my opinion. Thank God this app still put their customer's interests before money. Limited list of contents but the great thing is, you can binge your heart out, not to mention you can watch smoothly because of the simple player interface. Been using this for years and I also came to try other apps, but I just don't see anything quite like this one. Also I already accepted the fact that you'll never have THE GOOD WIFE, so yeah. 😂

    The director and actor names are showing the same. The progress is not synced when viewing between devices. The progress does not update when you exit what you're watching. You need to exit the app and relaunch it to refresh the progress. When changing to new devices, you need to email support so they can reset your device count when you reached the limit of 5. Why can't it be just a self-service feature with the account? Audio quality is not as good as when using other streaming services.

    I can't believed latest update give some bugs for example till i download 1 video and i have been waiting so long approximate almost 1 day that's video doesn't completely downloaded it's just stuck 75%, going check on my internet data stable on 4G. And last things are about trying 1 day subscribe, i think have latency notifications to displayed in apps menu. Ow gosh that's trouble gave me curious in headaches! would you fix it asap!     App needs a lot of improvement. Whenever you watch a video and try to watch the next it will stop ypu have to go back again and then select again for it to continue. It's ok bec there's a lot to choose from, however, there's a lot bugs. Also i wanted to pay to subscribe it won't let me just a white screen.

    It started off good. Earlier I used to subscribe for 1 month. Renewal after every month. December 2019, I decided to go for a yearly subscription. I made the payment. Money was deducted from my bank. So I started browsing and the app again started asking for subscription. I logged a complaint with Hooq team, sent them the proof of payment. It's been more than a month and the reply that I keep getting is that we are still tracking your account 😂 How lame is that. Still no sign of my subscription

    This app's collections of movies and series are great. Grey's Anatomy is the best series i've seen so far and thanks to HOOQ for hooking me up with it. However, I've noticed during my use of this app, it frequently crashed and it is frustrating when you're in the middle of watching a nerve wrecking scene. So I would very much appreciate it if HOOQ could do something to make the app go smoother and more flawlessly. I believe it would very much enhance the user's experience. Thankyou.

    the player is laggy even with 5+mbps speed. the app itself isnt working properly on some android devices min android 4.4.4 +. Partnering with local telcos aint gonna keep you on top when theres several streaming sites with much better service and ui. moreover, subtitles arent adjustable enough mind you that elderly , hearing impaired and/or deaf people needs big readable subs for less eye strain. didnt have this problem with netflix and iflix

    Worst experience ever. The app screen goes blank / black with just the audio and the subtitles playing. This happens on the whims and fancy of the app. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app doesnt help at all. The customer support service is not prompt at all. Beware before putting the money in the subscription.

    I am willing to pay after the trial period because it has the tv series I have been looking for. It worked fine in the beginning but after few days it keeps on saying that it is not available in my region even the local films were no longer available. It's so strange.     paid for a three month subscription,was working well on PC but in mobile it all goes to the dogs. video player always has problem. It only worked well in the previous version but then when i was enjoying it, came the godforsaken notification for a compulsory update. do something, make sure 100 percent effeciency of your videos player.

    super disappointing. used this cause it's the only one that has the movie I was dying to see. the good movies in this app are only available for rent, charging you a lot more. Can't even download the rented movies. This app consumes a lot of data even after you set the video in low quality. the subtitles are not timed as well, annoying.

    At my first month it was good, but then in my second the download feature slows down and im watching and downloading series in 50mbps wifi and it gives low quality videos. Please fix this. I think there's a bug crawling in the app. Also the download doesnt work on background not like iflix and netflix..it allows you to download and see the progress in your dropdown..

    Nice content however there are several issues. The mobile player should have big bold control buttons in the centre. Watching on PC or TV lags a lot even on high speed connections. Watch History is not saved (Mobile and TV both). Customer Care's response is too late. If these issues are not fixed soon, they'll lose the customer base they have.

    I really want to subscribe to hooq because hooq has more episodes of my favorite TV shows than Netflix. But the problem is, I can't subscribe because it when I press the subscription button, nothing happens, it just turns into a white screen and goes back. Also I always encounter the" Error 1039 Endpoint is deprecated" which I don't know what means so I really hope you fix the bug/issue so I can watch my Favorite TV shows without any problems so until this is fixed, it will stay as 1 star

    Unable to cast to tv using chromecast although it has a cast button on the app. Casting happens on the app level but unable to play anything. Waste of money for me until the cast doesnt happens. I dont want to watch it on mobile screen when I have a HD tv I can watch on. Disappointed.

    The app either on mobile phone or on TV was so unstable. It took ages to play a movie which sometime couldn't play and reported error. I don't think it is about internet connectuon because I rarely have the issue with the 'N' app. So I didn't bother to subscribe it anymore. Pro side: there are lots of Japanese animation to enjoy. For improvement: There should be 1. Trailer of each movie for us to consider if it's our interest 2. Functions to skip intro (and out-tro for next ep.)

When I open it again, and I go to the same show, it then crashes, even if I don't tap on the download button. I can't download nor watch offline. It's been a month. Can't watch on an ipad without wearing a headset. Can't get any sound without it.

    I have been using HOOQ for nearly a week and switched from Amazon Prime specifically to watch latest episodes of The CW Network Series and TBBT. After a few days of usage, I am unhappy with Experience of the app for the following reasons, 1) The App interface is very Slow and the buffering also takes time in spite of having high speed internet. 2) Have to click multiple times on the App Icons for Video Playback to open the Video. (It show loading after each click and does not play) 3) After downloading the Video Playback doesn't play (Tried once, so deleted the video and continued watching on Internet Streaming) @HOOQ Team - Kindly, improve your interface to provide a better Streaming experience and App usage experience. As I have 3 months package, post 3 months my continuation with HOOQ will purely depend on the App and Streaming Experience. Thank you

    Despite being a paid subscription based service this app does not have a stable enough streaming rate even though the ISP I used is Telkomsel which usually has no problem with Youtube videos. Picks for shows is relatively small too, and isn't as up to date as its competitors in the market. Subtitles are often not showing up or not synced/timed well enough. If it weren't for Telkomsel splitting my data to this service I wouldn't have wanted to install this. Big disappointment so far.

    always error DI 7011 very unhappy. big fan of series tv show but some of the tv show have incomplete season. there is no season 1-3, i can only view season 4-6. i log out and log in, try to un install and install it again, try to update the app, all the minor trouble shooting step doesnt work. i hope you can fix this issue very soon or i wont be renewing my subscription.

    This is app is a typical subscribe and pay but won't have access to all movies. It will still ask you to pay more. It is cheaper to rent movies in google play than here. And they only give you 24hrs from the hour you redeemed the ticket to watch the movie before it is gone. Netflix is a much better option. It offers better value for money. Viu for Korean series. The upside is their email customer service agents is quite good at their job. Thumbs up to them.

    I tried signing up using my mobile # which was the first step needed to have an hooq account and then suddenly the app crashed down. I tried restarting the application. Whenever I tried signing up for an account using my mobile number, it always saying that there's already an existing account with the said mobile # (which is my mobile #) And so I tried logging in with my number since it was like that.But then again after trying to log in,the app crashed down even before a code was sent.Fix that.

    Most of the time I get player error when try to watch offline videos. Also I cant download more than 10 clips. While downloading, if its in background, it stops downloading. I had to keep the app open all the time while downloading. I am not gonna renew it. Content is good but app sucks.

    I don't know of a more disastrous app experience. The downloads are a joke, and the app apparently is designed to keep the users out. The download time and data consumed for all qualities apparently is considerable and I doubt if they even care to properly compress the content - it's data intensive and gets occasionally distorted. Making a video offline is a herculean task, making sure it gets offline multiple times and starting again if it just ignored the process midway. I doubt if the service is anywhere worth the low pricing point.

    too bad, my internet connection has no problem at all.. but they buffering oftenly. like I watched a movie for 1 hour 25 minutes, when it buffered, i have to watch almost 3 hours.. totally bad.. i thought the issues from me my connection, but then i checked, it wasnt from my connection. please fix it. i dunno what to do but to wait for it buffered. 😔

    Shows and movies are good, but the app is so bad that even the subscription fee is just Rs 89 you regret paying that after few days. Playback freezes a lot. While watching a show of 45 mimute length playback freezes or crashes dozens of time. I think I am done with the app. Sent mail for support, after after so many too and fro they said their developer team will look into it.

    Dear Developers.. content of the app and the shows you cover and same day broadcast is also good. However there is no full screen / screen fill option on the new android devices. Which practically doesn't make any sense. Same content is available on a different platform with full-screen view. I have written mails on ur support desk but never got a reply on the same. I feel my subscription is wasted as I'm using a different app to watch the shows which premiers on ur platform. Can this be fixed?

    Netflix is the best. I tried using this app as it has lower charge than netflix but on my first subscription, the money was deducted but I couldn't watch any subscribed privilege movie. It was very disappointing but the customer care is active and good. They checked into my problem and solved in a week time by returning the money. I suggest u try this app.

    it needs update too often which is not cool because when I want to watch downloaded tv show episodes, it would say player error. Also, this app has a download limit, we could just download few episodes. And I am afraid I have to add my review.     Collections and quality is good..but tge main problems which i noticed are 1. No skip intro option 2. Draining my data as hell(ex 42 mins episode consumes 600mb ) 3. Sometimes Resume options are not working properly. Over all app is good ...must try for everyone. I will be very happy if above issues got fixed 😊

    i wasnt able to watch series and movies after the latest update. i wasnt ready yet to update the app but it is mandatory as there is no way to click back and proceed using the non updated one. i tried to refresh my phone, and i even reboot it but nothing happened and still it say s ERROR PLAYER.     Limited choice of movies or TV series, mostly old choices. Worst thing, you need to watch the ads every time you switch channels or movies, even when you have subscribed. No many good quality streamer force you to watch ads. Or probably there's issue with their login system that they can't detect subscribers.

Usually i try to download movies or series when i have good internet connection. So i can watch anytime and place.     Well good thing i finished watching Licifer Series, and got to admit , HOOQ is faster movie player than others, fast loading , and self adjust the pic quality if i got bad connection, so it wont stop playing and buffering.     The fact that I need to email you just to reset my devices because I seem to have more than 5 devices logged in to my account which I don't really frustrates me. Why don't have the option to logout all my devices or at least reset the password so all devices would be logged out since I own the account, I have all details needed, I should be able to modify it within said limits of devices as I want. Not user friendly at all. I won't renew my subscription.

    1 star because I liked that there are the newest episodes of the shows which I love. -4 star because download limit is 10 max. Forever having error with my download, and my only option is to delete them. (Which defeats the purpose of downloading in the first place because I do NOT want to use my data to watch when I'm outside??) And now it's either I choose to watch online or re-download again using data...??? Not to mention the videos take forever to be downloaded even at medium quality...

    There is a serious issue with downloading content. I got the subscription today and thought this is gonna be an amazing experience. First it didn't show me the download size of any content while downloading.This simple feature is available in all apps such as Netflix,Youtube. Other,There is no edge to edge screen support. Content not covering the entire screen. It ruined all the experience. Improve it dear Developers.
