About this APK

Hindu Astro (Hindi) is an app by Braingen Apps in the Books & Reference category, listed since at least January 2022. It includes native code for x86 32-bit, x86 64-bit, ARM 32-bit and ARM 64-bit, so it runs on practically every phone.

This one stop destination for Hindu Astrology, Panchanga and Calendar in your mobile phone. It shows all important Indian festivals and holidays for 150 years starting 1940. It includes the calendar for 2026 as well. This calendar app shows the daily basic Panchanga like Paksha, Tithi, Rashi and Nakshatra and the important Hindu festival days, festival days of other religions, holidays and other special days when you tap on a date. It also shows pictures associated with some festival days, holidays and special days when you tap on a date. It also contains few international festival days as well. Apart from these it shows the sunrise and sunset times for the present location. It also shows special times of the day like Rahukala, Gulikakala, Yamaganda, Varjyam, Amrita, Abhijit, Mahendra, Amrit (Amruta) and Choghadiya for the present location. For special days and festival days, you can set reminder by long pressing on that date. You can search festivals by pressing the search icon on the top toolbar. You can go to a particular month and year, by tapping on corresponding menu on the action bar. This app also provides daily notification s of special days and the prevailing tithi on that day. Once the paper calendar for a future year is published, the data of the app will be checked against the paper calendar data, and if any variation is found, it will be corrected. You can change the color and appearance of the screen by selecting various themes from the drop-down menu at the right hand corner of the app. It also provides 'Rashi Phala' - Daily, Monthly and Annual Rashi Phala, for your Moon based Rashi. You can tap the corresponding menu on the top menu bar of the application. You can generate any horoscope (Kundali or Rashi Chakra) and can see the corresponding predictions. You have to provide date, time and place of birth for this in the dialog box appears. You will get the general predictions, Vimshottari Dasha prediction, Gochara (Transit) prediction and all divisional chart details. Support for both Vedic and Western Astrology is there. Progressive horoscope prediction based on western Astrology is also provided in this app. You can add your custom reminders based on Tithi, Rashi or Nakshatra by using specific button on the main screen. These reminders will be notified starting 2 days prior to the events and also will be displayed in the widget. You can select Hindi or English as the language of display from the menu option.
