    As far as live feed it's okay but when it's time to rewind to see what happened pretty much all the comments regarding that is true. If there was a major upgrading this is what I'll like to have. 1) option to convert it from military time. 2) fix the buffering. 3)coming up with a new system for identifying specific days and time. Instead of using one big timeline.

I bought a Hikvision DS-7716NI-SP / 16 NVR and after jumping through all the hoops to set up Hik-Connect, I finally got the app to see the NVR and see what the cameras see. But for some reason, the app reboots my NVR down whenever I use the live view. In the app, it suddenly says the cameras are offline, and when I try to connect to my NVR through the web interface, it no longer responds. On the NVR itself, the scren just freezes, then it powers off and reboots. I wait 5 minutes and then it's back up. If I restart the app it shows the cameras online again, but if I try to see the live-view through the app and the NVR goes down again. Essentially unusable. Probably would be great if it didn't reboot my NVR.

    для пк I use this app with the Hikvision intercom and I must say it works almost perfectly fine. If I don't open the application once in a while the call fails to go through or takes a lot of time. Also, please add the functionality of shortcuts so that we can unlock a door without entering the app but simply create a shortcut as a button on our home screen. Thanks and well done.

    android The CCTV product is excellent, can't say the same for this app. It is a rare event it shows up images of all my cameras. 3 days' ago it was working ok. Now I can't get any image, just the word 'offline'. The app said there is a 4.3 version released with whatever new features. I went to the Google App Store and there is no such download. So I don't know why I have no images and just 'offline' message. Very frustrating and high time to get serious and up their game.

Desperately need the app to be able to view CCTV cameras but literally crashes and goes back to the login page every 3 seconds. I was advised to uninstall and get new version but it happens again and again. I cannot understand why a company as big as this allows their app to be so poor and shoddy particularly when their hardware is actually very good. Am giving up hope I'll ever be able to see my cameras remotely which was the whole point in getting them in the first place, as I've been trying to get this app to work for over a year. Will never use this company's equipment again. I would advise people to stay away from this app, it's awful

    настройка Works ok on Android. Two way calls after a doorbell push are quite delayed, wifes iphone is much faster. My biggest complaint is since i got a new phone, pixel 3, the app will only make the default notification sound on motion alert, even when i have it set to something else in the app. If I happen to have the app open on my phone it will play the sound I've selected.

    download On the NVR, when I go to playback recording, I see the full continuous recording and the event markers. As soon as I click and event market, I can see who walked by or what motion took place. On this app, there’s no way to do that.. this is a big flaw.. what if I’m in the office and want to see what kind of activity took place.. I won’t be able to.. this really sucks. Not really professional for a such product.

    app The app was working just fine about a month ago. Loved it. Controlled everything while being at work. Now all of the sudden Live View is not loading up at all. Apparently it only works now via WiFi, which is pointless of course. I want to be able to view my cameras with mobile data no matter where I am. Running on Samsung S9. Hopefully there is a fix soon!

    pc Started out using IVMS 4500. Worked great. Suddenly it stopped working. Called my alarm company and they said there was a new version, Hik-Connect 3.11.1. They came out and installed it on my tablet. I do not like this program. It lags trying to load up during playback. There is no fast foward in playback now. Now evertytime I open the program a notice pops up there is there a newer version, 4.3, that I need to install. Cannot find any information on how to download the new version.

    адрес сервера Overall a good app for use with Hikvision products. @Developers I use this app with my Wifi doorbell and it falls short in many ways compared to other options on the market as 'Ring' Missing Features: 1. Record to microSD and back up to cloud 2. Differentiate motion detection from doorbell button press on search 3. Separate notifications for motion detection and doorbell press, be able to disable one without affecting the other. 4. Voice prompts on doorbell are shockingly bad, these need to be updated, just use a 'Ring' product and compare. 5. Multiple user profiles - only allows one user per doorbell

    The hikvision doorbell has a massive flaw, if you turn off notifications for the motion detection you don't get notifications when someone presses the doorbell, so if like me you have cats and a pir light that's constantly setting off the motion detection of the camera you will get an abundance of useless notifications every day. This app needs an option that allows the camera to record motion detections but doesn't notify you except when someone presses the doorbell.

    Godawful! It is a nightmare to get set up and then fails without warning, and refuses to connect to the system. The whole system requires significant networking knowledge to set up. Mine cannot be accessed any more because it has set my account seemingly randomly, and it cannot be changed. Just get a different system - any will do and be less frustrating.

    ADT installed this so call the best system on the planet. Well I only had it since 20 Feb 2020 for my DVR cameras and 99% if the time I get Logging failure can't login to the network, check your network connection. ADT don't know what the problem is and I call Hikvision, well there no help with Tech support. I can't remote into my cameras most of the time even when I am on Wi-Fi. Its setup with DHCP, but I don't think that's the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Comparing it to my old KGuard system's app, this HikConnect app works like a dream! The feeds never break, I can record and share footage, I can stream all my cameras, unlike the KGuard system. The only problem is that a feed stops after 5 minutes. Why though? I need a constant feed without interruptions! That's the point of having a system like this! Give me uninterrupted streams!

    It's a very difficult App to use/operate. It keeps asking to stop use battery power and in doing that I lost other phone settings. It doesn't flow smooth and it occasionally freezes or images of moving objects just stop, freeze or zap past the screen at incredible speed. Since I've used it, I've had a hell of a problem with it. I cannot even set the App to sound an alarm, even though the notification settings are correct. It's now the 22nd April and still no success in connecting to the network.

    Have been trying to use this app with the Hikvision 6003 doorbell. It only occasionally rings the phone when the doorbell is pressed. Seems to be ok if the phone is completely unlocked and fully awake or if the app is open. Other than that I am missing a lot of doorbell rings. Not very good as I am having to install a chime which is defeating the object of having a smart doorbell with push and call notifications. Oddly enough it seems to work a lot better on my iOS device... Might even return the doorbell as this app means is not fit for purpose.

    I knew I should've left it alone but I couldn't permanently dismiss the update reminder page :( This app is unpredictable at the best of times but V3.whatever (the last iteration) had been working generally okay for me. Then came that insistent update page. At first I couldn't update it at all because it would just open the last Chrome page I'd looked at, but once I'd figured that out and performed the update... it stopped loading some of my cameras. And I can't revert back. Here we go again :(

    App has been good until recently, now there are no alarm notifications through the app badge on the home screen. After opening the app, there is no indication of alarm notifications. However, if I push the "notification" button at the bottom of the screen I will see the events and can access the video. A recent update to the app appears to the be the problem.

    At first the app had a few bugs but they have an integrated feedback that allows you to see the feedback you've submitted. (pay attention Google. You should allow us to see the feedback we've submitted also!) They fixed the bugs, added fingerprint authentication, streaming is fast and fluid with easy navigation from my phone.

    The camera system always reverts to basic view and won't stay on HD, what's the point!! Also, when trying to view playback it never seems to want to load. It is the only system I EVER have problems enough losing video playback. I have ADT camera system as well and never have problems. I really HATE that it won't spee and automatically stay in. HD mode.

You would think that the essential point of this app is to view cameras so when you load it up and every single time have to try on multiple occasions to get it to work then there clearly is a problem. This is evident especially when the app used to work fine in the past!! Please fix!!

    VIDEO PLAYBACK FAILED. PLEASE CHECK NETWORK. My network is fine. Have no problem remotely accessing other smart devices. This app used to work great. Then there was an update. Now it's only function is live viewing. Sometimes. The Help and FAQ webpage links don't even work. Meanwhile the app for my <$50 nanny cam is far more functional and reliable. The developer of this POS app should be embarrased. Wish I could give a negative rating. Suggest reverting back to the prior version ASAP.

    This App used to work fine, allowing access to the CCTV system when connected to any internet hot spot, but now since the last update it only works when connected to the same internet connection as the main system, so it's now useless, please fix this issue with the next update. ASAP

    It was used to be good but it went down hill since this morning. After review the comments from the other users and realised that Im not the only one. Im unsure it's because my mobile is Samsung, however, it still works fine on my husband's iPhone at the moment. Its very frustrated when it cannot work in the way that you expect and I wish the Company can fix this matter asap.

    Hik vision camera hardware is good but on the app side it it needs a lot of work. They have improved the app a lot in the last 6 months, currently it is in a semi intuitive state but has a tiny learning curve. But it needs more improvement and needs to be user friendly. I use both on android and ios, later is more clunky. And it's going to be a nightmare if you want to setup your mobile to access surveillance system. They should take notes from xiaomi MI camera app which is very user friendly.

    Need Features and Changes!! 01. Can't playback videos with synchronizing time. When dragging timeline, only selected camera's time changes. 02. Add feature to synchronize DVR time via APP. 03. Auto rotation of videos when live view and playback is annoying even the device rotation is turned off. 04. Need buttons for Fast Forward, Slow Motion Play Back.

    If you have a doorbell camera from Hik then this app is pathetic. It does not work with android. You will get motion detection but if someone presses the doorbell, unless you are using your phone, you won't get notified. Only when the 'call is cancelled' will you receive notification. YOu have to get an iPhone for it to work properly. Have sent various messages but never had a response from them.

    Doesn't seem to be very reliable ! keeps coming up with error codes, not playing back, slow viewing and freezing, plus jumping minutes so overall not very useful as I am a security guard. The cameras ect were installed by a professional and seems to be fine when viewing on site. But having problems when viewing on phones. I have read both positive and negative reviews on here so it may be something I am doing wrong. If so I will give a better rating if anyone can help to fix .

    Unable to download and use the app without a lot of difficulty. Wants to access things on your phone that it does not need to work such as camera, contacts, settings. Constant loop of the settings, log in, set up, uninstall common stall. Not user friendly. Needs to be completely revamped.

    I've had a incident over the weekend which I wasn't present for. But know the rough time period it happen. But it's over 3 days and not having a fast forward button or option is absolutely stupid. Cause now I have to sit down and watch three days worth of footage. For such a expensive system to get set up, this feature needs to be added or the system is pretty much pointless and will be telling people to save there money.

    2 tablets looking at 3 cameras from the same source. The cameras randomly pause and the play symbol has to be tapped to start playing again. Sometimes one or two, sometimes all three of them. Very annoying. This happens on both tablets which are not the same make. The same cameras do not pause on both tablets at the same time. Any ideas ?

    Have been using this app with no problem for about 2 years. Last few days it keeps telling me about an upgrade to 4.3, but it is not possible to download it. Also the google store doesnt show this update. Since trying to update I can no longer watch my cameras when not using wifi, which maybe me changing a setting by accident, but it seems weird it now wont work properly since attempting an update.

    disappointed..unable to access account since update 3.7 ..21/12/18. ..requests password then wants to authenticate..then goes back to login in screen. I now cannot access account through my phone.. other device running on v3.5 and is ok. Not convenient at all. RESOLVE..for anyone having the above problem. you'll need to reset your password.     After updating to the newest version of the Hik~Connect App, I started experiencing issues with playback mode. It denies me viewing and disconnects from the system. But I will say the Hik~Connect support line is excellent and very customer oriented in resolving setup issues. I'm hoping they will resolve these glitches with the newest app as they were not present with the old version of this app.

    Garbage !!! It will reset main and substream quality settings in all cameras (expensive dome cameras and also cheap internal cube cameras) when i switch display quality from basic to HD and back. This is epic bug. Almost all my hair fell off trying to find reason. Now I use app IVMS-4500 and it works fine without resseting video settings. And what is worse. All my clients with own guest Hik-Connect accounts (I shared them my cams) are resetting settings on all cameras as the were admins !!!!!!!

    Good except for a couple of things. Following features should be added/improved *CCTV footage playback functionality is very poor. better to add an option,so the footage can be fastforwarded/rewinded. As per the current version, if you missed 6 hours, you need to watch the footage for whole 6 hours. *Footage can be viewed per camera at a time. cant use playback option for all the cameras at once. Better if that functionality too can be added. Cheers!! \m/

    Worked reasonably well before recent update. Now the video clips are notified but won't open.The app shows a bell rather than a snapshot picture. A review online shows that I am not the only user who is having problems but no solutions have been found. I am uninstalling the app and will see if reinstalling resolves matters. Hardware is very good but the app is currently useless.

    Barely passable, but sharing access to cameras with non-administrative rights is not possible; also no administration of the camera system is possible remotely. You can't even change the time, so every time the clocks go forward or back, they're wrong. Very much a skeleton toolset - just the kind of poor software you'd expect from a Chinese producer.

    This app has an insanely annoying bug, where it constantly steals audio away from other devices during phone calls and forces it out of the speaker. You will find yourself on a private phone call and suddenly the other party is being broadcast from the phone speaker. The only solution is to disable notifications from the app, but recent updates means that this isn't always obeyed and it continues to impact phone calls. I've reported it to Hikvision and even had some feedback that it would be escalated for investigation, but since then I've heard nothing, despite chasing. Sad to say, but it renders the app almost useless for me, despite it working pretty well otherwise. Annoying :-(

    I'm completely fed up with this app... It was already terrible to begin with and now I get prompted for an update and after the update now it is 100% useless and will not load anything at all. Cleared cache... uninstall/reinstall... no help. This is not a "security system" as advertised. Sounds like time for a big lawsuit!

    I love having the ability to look after my home, when away or in an area of my home where I can't monitor the cameras. I'm prompted to download 4.3, but I don't see it in Google Play, so I don't trust the new download. The current version is working fine. Be careful with downloading the "new version" you all.

    had the system installed a few days app works well, down side is if you enter the app and use the record button it only records while the phone is on the open page once you close the phone case and come back to it the recordings have stopped from the moment you close the phones case? which means it's not recording at all! what's the point of paying over a thousand pounds yo have a system fitted to see what's going on in your recordings when it's not recording??? and I have no manuals either

    Smooth seamless experience I would say. Creating and logging in was easy. User friendly navigation menu and GUI. I can go back in time and check the recording, store to my local and capture pictures and many more features.(depends on the installation equipment one has). Only issue I faced is not able to share the stored video on phone through whatsapp and it keep on failing when I try to attach the file.

    I like this app, it works well. But lately I'm receiving the same thing as others. A pop up to update to version 4.3, which doesn't work. I can get to the Hikvision app store but the download doesn't work. Should this update come from googleplay or hikvision. I'm concerned if I try to change anything it will screw up Hik-Connect.

    Good app but very basic, downside is that video playback will not work always coming up with a error code... can anyone help with this issue. Now cannot find a way to set the current time, since the clock went forward one hour, it still shows the previous time !

    The latest update has cause many issues with viewing my cameras on playback via Hik-Connect. It started and the app crashed. the phone need to reboot. removed the device and reinstall the camera but that does not solve the problem. The app also mistake show the live view of the camera it is not selected or the app shows one camera live views for all other cameras. PLS Fix it ASAP because that is important security issues of my home I am not able to use the app to check that. I am also wondering whether I could roll back the previous version which was good as I have experienced it.

    *When I open LIVE-VIEW it connects for 1-3 second(s) and then hang (fail to liveview) then i go back to lobby and re-open the LIVE-VIEW and its fine. Hope ti fix that bug. *Fix Sync replay pls. When time and date is selected only the selected camera is updated not the others. "It must be all the camera like the browser control" *replay sometimes when selecting time and date it does not respond. *under calendar it marks even if the recorded time/date is already erase (overwrited).

    This app used to be really good, one of the best from Hik-Vision. Now it's rubbish, half of the features fail to work properly, but the really bad part that has just happened since the last update is that when trying load load video stream from a single camera, it streams for a few seconds then gives the error 'Video Playing Failed' Error Code: 330047 which means nothing to a Google search. Out of interest, some of my IOS clients who use the same app have informed me their IOS version works perfect. Come on Hik-Vision, sort this mess out... Or are the Chinese governemnt breaking this on purpose?

    Starting october 2018, the instant push notification does not work. In my case, it stop working on 3 android phones. Even the local support vendor cannot get it to work. Now I cannot on my house alarm if there is no one home because if the alarm trigger I will not know without the push notification.

    This is a review of the app, not the DVR and cameras. My experience over about 3 months is very favourable - goes quickly to live view and mostly replays well. Only problems I have had are with the playback function, which occasionally fails but normally works after restarting the app. The camera selection process is not ideal but works. For some reason, I was unable to get the app to recognize the dvr device when I used the ocr tool but fine when I typed in the details manually - maybe a bug.

    was working well & easy to use but has gone unusable & tempremental off wifi, only had the cctv fitted 2 months ago recommended by well established security company, they have checked my end & all is well, they got it working ok on ivms 4500 but not as user friendly app, wish i had a decent one fitted as this is not meeting its needs, unless they wake up & fix this problem app. Read your reviews, I am not the only one ! Bug was fixed not long after, seems to be running ok since.

    Spent alot if money on this set up, app intermittent, crashes freezes all the time takes such a long time to log in and open when it works, what is going on selling point is view anytime in real time, with push notifications, if it works I'm sure would be useful, can't get emails, can't get push notifications can't send clips so it just records 24 hr a day and if you are looking for something on the main box, you have to scan through the whole day and hope you find what your looking for not good

    Good app overall. Main issue for me is that we have a 16 camera system and use motion alerts. There is no way to filter alerts by camera. When you have more than just a couple of cameras it makes motion alerts useless. Please add a function to at least view motion alerts by camera.

    Annoying I used to be able to watch live streams on my 4k cams since purvhase in may 2019, now in July it just stops playing live streams after 5 minutes, with a messaged display briefly to say that!. I have to press play again which then takes ages to reload before it will play live stream. What is going on? I want live streams, that is why i bought the camera and now i cant an option in the settings to stop this auto shut off live streams. Very poor.

It always loses the camera feed from one camera so you have to select it each time rather than opening the app and both cameras being visible immediately. Also, I have to select HD Footage every time, as it always loads in Standard Definition. App needs massive improvements to be useable in my opinion

    The soft is ok and easy. The problem is, why bother make an account, if you cannot save devices, for reinstall purposes ? I had a few devices added from clients with different IP's and login details, after a reinstall of Hik-Connect and login with same old account in which I had all those devices, no devices were saved so I had to go to clients and start adding devices again.     Selecting image settings through the Hik Connect app (Standard/HD/Basic), overwrites main and sub-stream settings (resolution, fps and bitrate) on the device and sets them to low. Problem still unsolved over a year and a half later. Many forum posts from professional installers about this issue. Cameras tested 2CD2135 (updated to latest fw 5.5.82), 2CV2Q21FD (updated to latest fw 5.4.4) Useless for remote monitoring, the main reason to buy a network camera in the first place. Zero stars.

    I have a 16 channel TVI DVR which allows an additional 2 IP cameras. I've been running this configuration for 4 years. My 2 IP cameras quit working in Version Just in the app, not on the actual DVR. Uninstalled the latest version and downgraded to previous version My IP cameras work again. Very disappointing that I had to do all this troubleshooting and now can't update the app.

    Great app for viewing all my cameras connected to the Hikvision NVR. Would give 5 stars if there was a fast forward option on video playback. Something like 2X, 4X, 8X etc. It's not so useful viewing playback at normal speed moving if you are just reviewing footage for any events. The slider is great but you miss chunks of footage when reviewing.

    The app is good when it works. We have used the app for about 5 months. The app tends to crash after each click, so have to close the app, pull it back up and hope it works. If not, then we have to close and reopen until the app does work. The app crashes more than it fails. We hesitate to use because we know we are going to spend more time trying to get it to work than we are to find what we need. If it didn't crash so much we would recommend it.

    Everytime I need my security it's there, even when I go through changing out phone. Customer service is so helpful to keep me updated with my security, for that I'm thankful. Reason for a 4 score is because my security monitor is always affected when my internet is off line. Don't know why it has an affected on my monitor through internet connection. Probably nothing could be done about it.

The only good thing the setup is cheap compared to the other companies around. Today I would try Geovision. I had them before. Was okay - definitely better than Hikvision.

    App it self is basic, albeit lacking a few features that anyone would expect to be standard such as downloading videos clips, rather than having to watch the clip and then press record? Sounds like we have gone back to the good old VHS tapes. Also, LIVE view does not work most of the time. I'm using DB-120A-IW Wifi DoorBell and constantly LIVE view fails. I get the error 'video playing failed: error code:(260015)' and trying to watch motion detected clips gives the error 'video playback failed. error code: (245405)' If I use a 3rd party rtsp viewer, the stream is fine. Wifi signal strength is excellent as it's only 5 meters from the access point. When pressing the doorbell button, it fails to show on the app, they only way I know is a message will pop on my phone telling me missed operation, or something along those lines. I have to unbind the device every time to resolve these types of issues and even then it does not work. Very frustrating, when I'm at work and unable to see what is happening back at home. Whats the point of having it. I believe the software is very buggy. I've tried the HiLook app too, same issues. I've tried other third party apps and the whole setup process like EZVID is same, I 'm sure they are all using the same buggy code as the UI is the same and setup process along with the app layout and features and menu options!!! I'm running Android 10 on Google Pixel 3, running latest version of App as of 8th Oct 2019. Please can these issues be looked at as I'm considering getting the Ring and putting in a complaint to get my money back. Can you also tell us what bug(s) were actually fixed when pushing out updates?

    Intercom doesn't vibrate phone when ringing so pretty useless when the phone is on silent. Can't connect the intercom to the dvr to be recorded and hikvision provide no support at all. They refer to installers who don't know what the problem is. I'd recommend against anything hikvision, purchase from a company that provides support.

    Easy to use depending on products you have. Mostly everything can be done by mobile device. Zoom. Take photo. Playback. Switch basic view resolution to hd view resolution. True 4k. No loading issues instant on phone within one second switches to true 4k mode. That's standard internet, no super fast or fibre optic or added boost. Use basic view off wifi trust your camera position set up also otherwise you will chew your network data unless unlimited data. Switch to 5g I'm 4g.

    Doesn't work with doorbells - manual is a joke - doesn't say you need to be in airplane mode, and doesn't say you need to download the Hik app from their website where version 4 is (this version works with doorbell) At least give your customers the right information.     The recording feature is not working properly. Just recorded 6 mins of some video footage only for the clip to freeze after a few seconds. The file size is 126mb, so it seems to have recorded something but must've corrupted somehow as playing it back it only plays for a few seconds and the video freezes. After paying thousands of euro for this CCTV system I was hoping for decent remote playback. Live viewing very good, but playback hardly ever works. NVR is connected to 1,000mb broadband router at home, so the isue must be the app. You might be able to view two or three events, but then it will fail to load anymore.

    Doorbell camera goes "offline" in the app once a week, even though the doorbell is actually online (can pull up its web config page in a browser, NVR still recording it). Only way to fix seems to be factory reset and set up the doorbell all over again.

    No longer works, it won't get past the CAPTCHA verification and now there is a stupid visitor mode. HIK Vision has really hurt themselves by doing away with the DDNS service. Now they have messed up the app. My company has a lot of DVRs to replace because HIK is no longer able to provide remote access!

    when you record videos in the app, they no longer save to the Hikvision Album on Android, so you can no longer share the videos for others to view them. This worked fine before the update. Before, you could record a video and it would automatically save to the separate Android Hikvision album. Please sort this asap!!!!

    Application is buggy and hardly usable. After starting it up on my Lenovo tablet it almost every time immediately crashes. Usually 5th or 10th attempt to start is successful and sometimes app lets me see live view of cameras. Remote playback is painful. When skipping to previous day, playback from midnight usually starts and video works. But skipping to particular time causes that application is still loading up to 80 or 90 % and finally playback attempt fails with error code 260015. It happens on both WiFi and 4G connection.

    Please fix rotation lock. If I lock my device orientation to portrait only the app still rotates to horizontal if the phone is turned.     I just want to see the video camera feeds. It works ok but app nags all the time for permission to access my files/SD card, which I won't grant for privacy reasons. If I choose deny and don't ask again then app quits immediately. So please stop warning all the time me that functionality I don't want won't be available unless I grant you access to all me personal info. The iVMS-4500 app was much better but it doesn't work since I upgraded to Android 10.

    terrible app, after every update something stops functioning, after latest i'm unable to see hikvision cams online, app works slowly, now crashes everytime, don't use this app, search for alternatives , such corp of premium surveylance cams can't create one fully working app.. (including IVMS, Hik connect, HIK lite, HIK HD, are you serious?)

    Choppy playback and often 'No video found' following notification. The equipment is very good, but the app not so good. Why keep asking me via this app to download version directly from your website? I've tried it, it is no better.

    The app is pleasantly good and provides me the ability to watch my CCTV footage seamlessly from afar. been using for almost a month now, without any problems. There are possibilities to improve the UI especially front screen when accessing the app. But in terms of performance and efficiency this app is very very gold

    Every time app starts it shows annoying notice about Hik-Connect version 4.3 is now released..., and user input required to continue using app. It also redirects to some website to download new version. Why cant just use Google Play Store? Intense notification sound not working, on motion alarm getting usual notifications.

    Since today it stopped working when you're out of your LAN on Samsung S8 Android 9.And i never,never,ever got it to work with push notifications with ddns.Obviously the notifications work only with hik access platform enabled,not with ddns and port forwarding.Also with the hik access platform the streaming is horrible quality and lag.The PTZ cameras move only U/D/L/R,not diagonaly.What about ddns,is it going to be fixed for android 9?

    before when there was activity outside ive had blue lines showing on the times when activity occurred now its all blue so if something happen i have to go through all day of recording to find out what time it happened. it all chqnged since last update. its very frustrating. anyone know how to sort it out????

    After the last update recorded videos are not being sent through whatsapp. The message "This video can't be sent, please chose different video and try again" is displayed. Tried recording and sending again but it didn't work. Kindly fix this issue.

    The update has removed both camera views from my device. Device refresh doesn't work. Scanning the nvr qr code shows the device as already registered. Unbinding the device is asking for a password I don't recall. I would not have updated if I was aware of this hassle. Poor service.

    great app. very easy to use. top results. ive got 4g and the worlds worst bt upload and internet speed, but thats another story, THIS app is working perfectly despite my internet speeds being less than 50% of the minimum requirement. took a risk and it paid off. great playback, recording and all in PERFECT HD.

    So far so good. Very Stable. It would be great if added a feature to share media (cams, DVR, NVR) with audio live view permission. I need to share live view with audio muted. turning off two way audio didnt work to me

    Got the hik vision system but this app is ridiculous , the amount of permissions it requires is just silly. Also there is no fast forward or reverse on the playback. . Works ok though. Just cancel all the permissions and it still works ok.

    Way better than the old app. However, I'm unable to unbind a device previously added to my own guest account...the spinner briefly appears and nothing happends. This is very irritating as I would like to add the cameras to my registered account

    The last update (May 2019) seems to have broken everything. Live feeds fail to start, event playback takes ages then says error code 380209 or file not found. All works fine from web browser on laptop. Downgraded to 3.7.6 and all works okay. Fixed in June update.

    I used to use Hik HD or ivms 4500 neither app is working. I installed this app this morning but can't look at cameras for more than a min the app keeps crashing. So the fall back apps no longer work and the new app crashes. This really sucks.

    Was great, now not so much.... Great if you dont have more then 8 ip cams. Been trying to view 32cams, between 2 nvr's in 1 location. Works fine the first time then if you close the app and try to view them again, big fat nothing!

    Last update broke live-view on the dvr. Getting error code 330007. Re-adding the dvr is successful but live view doesn't work. Playback works as normal. Please fix. Other than that, this is one of the best dvr viewer apps.

    Keeps loading and loading, never showing me real time video. When I want/need to watch live, unfortunately I cannot as it never loads. What's the point in paying a lot of money for this kit when I cant see what's happening at my property while I'm out. I am disappointed, not happy with this at all.

    Since its been updated the app closes every time you select a camera. Has gone from 4 star to absolutely useless overnight. Looking at reviews everyone else is in the same boat. Come on division, sort it out!

    Cameras do not pull up when you open the app. After reading other reviews im not the only one with an Android having this issue. Are there any plans to fix the issue or is the app a waste of space on my phone and needs to be removed?

    App gets 2 stars as it was the only one that would successfully connect my 6003 doorbell. The good news ends there... inconsistent notifications, no home network access and no ability to modify motion detection zones... basic stuff, where is it?

    I was very happy with it until recent update when preset button for my PTZ camera disappeared. Now I can't switch between different positions of my camera with this app. Very disappointing, and I don't understand why they took it away.

    it's a totally mess ... every time it's crashed ... you have to click 3 or 4 times to see a camera ... it crush again and again ... ( on Samsung S9+ .. veey stable phone ). Please update it ... or sell the company to someone with more pottential ... or kill the guy who code this mess of app !!! 4 real !

    playback used to have motion detection lines to easily locate when you wanted to view an incident but now the playback bar is all same colour blue so unless you know the exact time the event was your have to watch hours of footage - totally useless. please revert back to how it was

    The equipment is very good! The service to knowledgable home owners is often marginal at best, so I sometimes need to call my dealer for service. Free service and parts for 3 years is a major benefit. From my experience their best service people are assigned when a dealer is called.

    When opened it asks to download another update off the Play store! This is not a way to build trust with your customers. Downloading off the store is usually done with malicious intent like viruses or backdoors. Hikvision you should know better than this and not be asking your customers to circumvent usual protections. Please only issue updates through the store!

    App is great except for after latest update my camera alias no longer works. No matter how many times I edit it reverts back to original camera name. Playback also hangs up after fast forwarding. Please fix, otherwise solid app!

    i dont know what update did but im same as another review live view is fine but once you click on the notification it just wont initialise,used to be an excellent app but not anymore please sort it we have all spent alot of money and now its utterly useless,if your considering buying this system i would advise not to,they should roll back this update and make it do what it should,my fitter has conveniently disappeared as well
