Description
HID Mobile Access® is the quality access control you have come to expect in the form of a mobile device.
If you would like to start using HID Mobile Access® in your organization please visit https://www.hidglobal.com/solutions/mobile-access-solutions to learn more about the service and compatible readers. The App will only be useful to you once your organization has been setup with compatible readers and your security administrator can issue Mobile IDs. To improve the door opening experience, we detect readers when the app is not open. Location Services is used exclusively for this purpose.
HID Mobile Access is compatible with Android smartwatches running Wear OS. However, it cannot function independently and requires the presence of a paired mobile device. The smartwatch serves as a widget to initiate communication with the HID reader via the mobile device, provided an active key is available.
