The app is not bad BUT the digital version does not download until 5am. What about people who work into the early hours they cannot read the latest version of the paper. I start work early and would to read the paper at 3am but now I cannot. Fix it so it downloads the new version as soon as it is out like before you upgraded it.

The refresh or new app is terrible, if there is not an improvement coming in the next few days, I'm cancelling my subscription. The articles are slow, the comments section takes minutes to load if at all, and the overall outcome for my experience is dreadful. I.T. heads, why did you break something that wasn't broken. And why did my app just upgrade without my permission on my phone and tablet. Also,if you want to leave a comment, the key board does not appear. CHANGE IT BACK NOW!!!!!!!!!

No longer works as good as it used to. What happened to the blue highlight that helped read articles. And it is starting to get worse. Fails to download the paper frequently. This is one of those classic upgrades to disaster, now I can look at olympic stuff except the paper doesn't down load! There should be a no star rating. They keep changing this and it doesn't really get any better, good features dissapear and they make changes without notifying subscribers.

Disappointed that NOW while reading the paper we no longer have the device time shown. My ratings are on the way down... New version often loads yesterday's paper. Restarting my device sometimes resolves the problem. Reloading the app sometimes solves it. Today however all these have had no effect to fix my problem. Different day and new version downloaded. Once again after an upgrade of the app I am unable to download the paper. I really do not have time to troubleshoot the app in the morning.

The interface of the updated app is dated and looks like a first attempt to create an app, not an update. Also why are subscribers now subjected to in app ads for sports bet and other betting ads? As a paying user I do not want to see any ads let alone betting ads. Old version was so much better.

Hello since your newspaper app has changed i have had nothing but trouble reading the print edition I have followed all the clear cache & re download app instructions from previous email this week If you dont fix this soon or communicate to your subscribers i will have no choice but to cancel my subscription Why did you have to fix something that wasnt broken Please help Regards James

Update a disaster, previous version was excellent. Old saying "if it ain't broke,why tamper/fix it!"!!Obviously update meant for smartphones or tablets,definitely not for pc's(laptop's etc)xtremly disappointed

Terrible update, way too slow to download today's paper if it downloads it at all. Very unstable cannot read the full paper without at least 3 resets. Roll back to previous version.

Loading now for the 8th time. Why such a rubbish update? Herald Sun digital is too annoying to use now. Please cancel my subscription can't even open app at all. Paying for a subscription I can't use and so annoying I can't access any of your fake news.
