Terrible app... Avoid if any other option is available. If you enjoy being unable to ever switch apps ... Like when you need to get a confirmation code in your email to enter into this app and it just freezes up, this is perfect for you. Better yet, if you like getting 3/4 of the way done and then you get to start over... It's even better.

Use this app only when your tummy is already full and you have a gallon of patience and a good sense of humor. If you are hungry or in a rush, you will likely find that using this app is painful and frustrating. The process of placing an order is clumsy and slow, and the app does not help you figure out why it won't take your order. You just need to keep clicking and unclicking until you hit some unknown sweet spot. It's like trying to gather twenty balloons in the dark. In other words, the app makes ordering laborious and maddening. Maddening. Also, each vendor within the app has its own way of collecting credit card info: some require just the basic info, others require your entire billing address. I don't know how much money merchants pay Heartland Guest to be a part of its network, but I would love to see HG put more of their profits toward making their app more user friendly.

Latest update broke app. It keeps saying app needs to be updated although the update has completed. UPDATE: Received an update notification later in the day which fixed the issue.

1- sometimes the app' logs me out all on it's own, then I have to look up the password to use it again. 2- App' won't open, demanding an "update". But I've looked all over it and 'Play Store' and there none to be found. I only ever use the scan function to receive my 'points', overall it's a balky thing that obviously needs work.

it doesn't even explain how to access your points and actually use the points for anything.... can anyone here explain to me how to actually use the points? the app itself has no contact info and the help link is useless, it's not interactive. The history link shows my purchases and points earned but no other info on how to access them and use them?

So many bugs and unintuitive . Won't save credit card, need to toggle tip button to get place order button to come up. Need to swipe right on order page to get new order option (not obvious). Takes forever to open. Now it wants location and Wi-Fi turned on to find restaurants even though both are on and app has permission to use location.

Not very user friendly. The UI for this app is in serious need of a rewrite. Flow from start to finish when ordering is not very good. Discount reward codes are buried deep and there's no way to get to them from the order screen without canceling the order. Additionally, when I order online thru the restaurant's website I get a confirmation email with an expected delivery time. Not so when I order thru the app. In fact, there's no info other than a receipt with date & order time avail in app.

Never works! I dread each time a restaurant uses this app. Store a credit card in your online account? Doesn't matter. You have to enter all the info again, and then usually it goes into an infinite loop without ever paying.

Won't let me log in to add points (Oct 2020) (August 2021) App worked for awhile. Now it's back to it's old shenanigans. Scan 1: error, unable to assign points Scan 2: error, points have already been assigned. Either way there is no change in points.
