HD Metal detector is a mobile application by TECH_BASE aimed at detecting the presence of metals (Ferromagnetic metals) in the nearby surroundings. Below are some of the uses of HD Metal Detector:

In a nutshell, HD Metal detector makes use of the sensor is to measure variations in the Earth’s magnetic field (magnetic field level in nature is around 49 µT.) The presence of ferrous metals or other materials containing electric and magnetic properties causes distortions in the field. * Presence of electronics like laptops, electric lamps, batteries etc.

* Variations in the Earth's magnetic field due to solar wind and magnetic storms causes 
anomalies in the Earth's magnetic field leading to false detection of metals.
