Hanseatic Bank Secure app: Now more security – on the go or at home.
The Hanseatic Bank Secure app allows you to authorize online payments at participating retailers using Hanseatic Bank credit cards. Participating retailers can be identified by the Visa Secure symbol in their online stores. To authorize orders or online payments with the Secure app, you only need to link the app to your mobile device once after downloading it.
How to set up the Secure App with the Hanseatic Bank Mobile app:
• If you already use the Hanseatic Bank Mobile app, log in to the mobile app using your login details.
• Go to "More" and "Connect Secure App" in the menu at the bottom.
• Start the setup process. The numeric code for security verification will then be automatically transferred to the Secure App.
How to set up the Secure App via Online Banking:
• Start the setup process at https://meine.hanseaticbank.de/de/register/sign-in under "Security" and "Connect Secure App."
• Scan the QR code or use the 6-digit numeric code.
• Activate push notifications.
After logging in, authorize all orders and online payments with your credit card using the app and your password.
When making online purchases with Visa Secure, you will receive the name of the online merchant, the amount, the date, and the time before completing the transaction. If these details match those of the transaction, authorize the payment by confirming it in the app.
Using Visa Secure is free of charge and is solely for your security online.
