Loop helps you create and maintain good habits, allowing you to achieve your long-term goals. Detailed charts and statistics show you how your habits improved over time. The app is completely ad-free, open source and it respects your privacy.

Simple, beautiful and modern interface
Loop has a minimalistic interface that is very easy to use and follows the material design guidelines.

Habit score
In addition to showing your current streak, Loop has an advanced formula for calculating the strength of your habits. Every repetition makes your habit stronger, and every missed day makes it weaker. A few missed days after a long streak, however, will not completely destroy your entire progress, unlike other don't-break-the-chain apps.

Detailed graphs and statistics
Clearly see how your habits improved over time with detailed charts and statistics. Scroll back to see the complete history of your habits.

Flexible schedules
Supports not only daily habits, but also habits with more complex schedules, such as 3 times every week; one time every other week; or every other day.

Reminders
Create an individual reminder for each habit, at a chosen hour of the day. Easily check, dismiss or snooze your habit directly from the notification, without opening the app.

Widgets
Track your habits directly from your home screen, with beautiful and colorful widgets.

Completely ad-free and open source
There are absolutely no advertisements, annoying notifications or intrusive permissions in this app, and there will never be. The complete source code is available under an open-source license (GPLv3).

Works offline and respects your privacy
Loop doesn't require an Internet connection or online account registration. Your confidential habit data never leaves your phone. Neither the developers nor any third-parties have access to it.

Take your data with you
If you want to further analyze your data or move it to another service, Loop allows you to export it to spreadsheets (CSV) or to a database format (SQLite).

Very happy with the app! Simple, easy to use and set up. One feature I would love to see is constraints on the measurable habits. I.E. The goal is currently an "at least" (run at least 5 miles), but "at most" (watch at most 2 hours of Netflix) could also be added! If you go over, it doesn't count as having achieved that goal for the day.

I am liking this app so far, however the only gripe I have with it is how the app automatically adds a checkmark on habits you haven't done for the day. This is a question on the FAQs page (unfilled checkmarks) and the developer does supply an answer, but I wish for an option where you could turn this feature off.

The simplicity and ease of use is the best thing. I've tried using numerous apps which have a lotof features I wanted but eventually they became too tedious to do everyday. I think if keeping track of our habits itself becomes a difficult habit to maintain, then it's doomed to fail. This app lets me not only mark habits as done/not done, but also makes the distinction between a lapse (failure) and a skip (not a failure). And it still remains easy to use!

Could you add a feature to input a category tag to each habit? And then make it so that if you want, you can have a category drop down option with the habits underneath? Or an option to filter view habits based on categories. When you have many habits, it's hard to scroll down and this also makes it more organized.

I use this to app keep track of my household chores plus other things, and it has been so useful. Plus, the ability to set reminders keeps me on track. Edit: looks like I can no longer track habits to be scheduled for more than 2 digit days out... For instance scheduling a reminder every 120 days. It only allows me to put in 12. Is there any way to fix this?

I love it. I've been using it for years, and have tried many times to replace it with another app, but there is one feature that keeps bringing me back to this app: the gadgets. Being able to track my progress and log my successes from the home screen is priceless, I don't know if nowadays there are other apps that do the same, but back when I started there were none. The only downside is it's lack of extra features.

Well done! Fantastic App and no ads?! Works well and very flexible. I use this to remind me of daily tasks... Works better than tasks apps for daily chores and things and has fantastic options to mark items as skipped vs not marking at all. The "Delay next day by 3hrs" option is awesome! Even if you don't just that, the app easily allows one to mark tasks done or not the next day (I'm looking at you in frustration Todoist!). Thank you!

Really like this app's features and data privacy. A couple of suggestions to shorten the long list of goals/habits and better organise them: 1. Archive habits/goals once achieved or if no longer relevant 2. Group habits together, e.g., diet, fitness, work, etc. Hopefully, you can implement them into the app soon.

good but another feature? while it helps with maintaining tasks that are done once a day/week/month, i wish there was something like habitica's +/- habit, for things that can be tracked multiple times a day. for example, every time i bite my nails could be a bad habit, or every time i avoid looking at social media while studying could be a good one, and we can tap the +/- accordingly.

Solid app for tracking habit chains/streaks. Widgets make it easy to remember & update. Graphs give a satisfying sense of progression. Data is portable with backup and restore options. Loop has all the features I was looking for in a habit tracker plus several I didn't know I wanted. Been using it for a few years now and I've not once considered switching.
