CONS: When you search for Crystal City,VA it apparantly doesnt exist in the database. This caused an issue for me when my trip would not automatically add from my gmail. There is missing location data to this app. PROS: Other than the issue stated above, the app is very useful and does help organize your trip online and offline. If you dont know the area that you are traveling to, this can be very helpful and quick when needing to know what's around.

I think this app has a great potential, but there too many missing features for it to be really useful. First, it does not recognize all emails and it is not possible to add informations from an email if missed by Google (or if deleted accidentally). It should be possible to tag places already visited, to annotate and give a mark (for next time). It would also be useful to have a browser version.

I agree with some other users: 1. The manual planning is very difficult. It should allow you to add things or change things around more easily. 2 why isn't there a "share trip" option already is beyond me. People usually travel in groups and travel companions should be able to contribute or simply keep an eye on the itinerary. 3. My last trip which happened at the end of July 2018 has simply disappeared from the "past trip" options???

There is no reason why Google is getting rid of this app. It is the only app I would trust to pull all of my reservations via email, which is entirely why I got it. The whole point is to not have to input trip information manually. Thus, their claims that other apps do the same this is just patently untrue. The offline feature is one of a kind, and the information that used to be provided by users (food suggestions, vaccine guide, etc) was invaluable. nothing in other Google apps can compete.

I'm reading this app high because it shows exactly what it does... very well. Really disappointed to hear this app will be discontinued. This app really provides the necessary information needed to plan a trip including local protocols, transportation, emergency services, top local dining spots, etc. It will be difficult to find a replacement all in one app to replace it.

This is by far the best travel app I have ever used. My husband and I travel a lot and this app helps us to keep everything in order. I am absolutely gutted that they pulled it. So disappointed in Google. Google/travel is not the same as it is not an app and is not available offline. Not every station/airport has WiFi.... First inbox. Now this... Why do they stop all their best apps???

This app has been discontinued by Google, so why is it still available got download? It was an amazing tool for quick references to local tours, businesses, hotels, museums, etc when traveling or planning a trip. It seemed to require minimal effort on Google's part to even create or run this, so it's a shame they abolished it over the summer in 2019 (it was functional in May 2019, but by August they had killed it).

I don't even bother with travel books anymore, this perfectly ties in reviews with transportation with routes, seriously, if you have data and this app you are set, I've used it to explore dozens of foreign cities and it has been a Godsend. Only knock on it is that it doesn't let you do collaborative trip planning so each member of your group has to go through it on their own and then you compare notes after. Small price to pay though for such a great app.

Great until this week. Added a coach journey and 80% of my trips, both past and upcoming, disappeared. Hoping an update will fix it. It was fixed with next update. Really disappointed to see this app go. Over the last two years I have used it more than any other app. Hope they reconsider and support it again. 5/5 when fully working.

I really liked this app. what I dont like is that Google creates these things as sandboxes to see if there is some other way to garner more from us than we want to offer. why was this not advertised and built up? I'd like an app that is specifically for this purpose and have JUST relevant info. Not what I want sometimes plus a whole bunch of other stuff that some company paid to show me. I'm so bored with these 'never was going to keep this app active' tactics. yawn.
