Description
Guardian Mobility’s GMI Connect APP v4.1.0 enables communication with the Guardian Mobility G4/G4C/G4MX and G4MX2 via Bluetooth to support automated and manual aircraft tracking, event and Alert reporting. APP also provides support for automated GPS, Cellular and iridium connection status, send Mark current position, Alert reporting messages, send and receive two-way free-form and aircrew editable pre-formed text messages over the iridium Satellite network. The APP also support the G4C/G4MX2 models in providing both iridium or Cellular and iridium dual network communication of GPS position messages, ATU reports, GMI Mapping Events and text messages. The G4C/G4MX2 in dual network mode also supports uploading of G4LOGS and FDMS logs via the Cellular network. For the G4MX2/G4MX models the APP also provides support for configuration of Automated Telemetry Unit (ATU) operations, aircraft input (analog and/or discrete) triggered GMI mapping events, Flight Data Monitoring System(FDMS) support. The APP can be installed and operated in one of two modes:
• Aircrew mode – This mode provides GPS/Iridium/Bluetooth and G4/G4C/G4MX/G4MX2 Status, Text messaging, Automatic Flight Following (AFF) tracking with configurable update rates, Mark current position and Alert report generation functionality and basic configuration options.
• Admin/Maint mode – This password protected mode provides the Aircrew functionality plus support for ATU operations (Various Buckets and Isolair Tank standard),ATU load cell calibration , external aircraft discrete I/O and analog input configuration and trigger mapping configuration.

Guardian Mobility G4C model G4-IC-PF-EX (Guardian Mobility Part number 101939) with firmware version G4C 3.00-REV04-RC01 or higher.
Guardian Mobility G4MX2 model G4-IC-ME-EX (GM Part number 101958) with firmware version G4MX2 3.00-REV04-RC01 or higher.
Guardian Mobility G4 models G4-I-PF-IN and G4-I-PF-EX (Guardian Part Numbers 101817 and 101818), with firmware G4 V1.12REV01 in Aircrew mode only or G4 V2.10REV01-RC01 firmware.
Guardian Mobility G4MX product model G4-I-MX-EX (GM Part number 101911), with firmware G4MX 3.00-REV03-RC01 or higher in both Aircrew and Admin/Maint modes.
Supports GMI Mapping enhancements for ATU and Discrete/Analog input triggered mapping events.
