Gluten Dude helps you find gluten-free restaurants, read kitchen notes regarding cross-contact procedures, plan trips (driving + airports), and save money with gluten-free deals.
WHAT MAKES GLUTEN DUDE DIFFERENT
Most apps give you a giant list and call it a day. We don’t. Every listing is recommended, researched, and categorized so you can choose what feels right for you.
Filter restaurants by type:
• 100% Gluten-Free (dedicated gluten-free kitchens)
• Dude Vetted (recommended + researched, plus direct vetting notes from the kitchen)
• User Suggested (recommended + researched when the restaurant doesn’t respond)
• Chains (chains the community consistently rates highly)
Read notes from the kitchen:
For Dude Vetted places, you’ll see a “Dude Vetting Note” that tells you what matters: prep practices, shared equipment, and the real-world details you wish every restaurant would explain upfront.
Travel tools that actually help:

I'm Scott, aka Gluten Dude. I was diagnosed with celiac in 2007 and started blogging in 2011 to help others navigate the same overwhelming path. For over 15 years, I’ve been advocating for this community, calling out the BS, raising awareness, and pushing for better support.
Five years ago, I launched this app to take that mission even further, giving you tools to travel, dine, and live gluten-free with more confidence and less stress. Now in 2026 I've rebuilt it to serve the gluten-free community even better.
