The software of this app needs some looking at for sure, it's very helpful but the operating system has a lot of bugs like saying a device is disconnected when it isn't, or removing devices at random, the app seems to struggle at times especially when detecting when a bulb is on or not. At times I've had to reset the app three or more times just to turn off a single bulb, I eventually gave up and turned the bulb off using the Alexa app instead. The app is nice, but has plenty to improve on.

I bought this for inside the house security. It worked great for awhile. All of sudden it stopped working. I got it back up,and now it claims the yearly cloud service has been unsubscribed. Wtheck, I didn't even notice for some time bc it appeared to be functioning properly. I was in the hospital, it worked then bc I got to say hi to my cat. But it wasn't operating. I'm getting ready to purchase inside and outside the home. Right now.. Merkury isn't in the running for me to invest more. 0 cloud

I don't know if it's the cameras of the software but having serious problems. I've hooked up many systems before but this one I think it's having a problem encrypting the cameras if they're too close together and they don't have anything per se for a Wi-Fi antenna on each camera so really the camera suck. They don't give you the option to flip the screen upside down in case you want to hang it from the ceiling nothing like that software is really bland.

I bought two boxes of 2pack security cameras, I was able to scan QR code with the first one and set up but can't go far beyond that. The three other cameras won't scan the QR code when adding devices. This app and the products don't promote security. Waisted time. You're better off paying more money for a legit security system.

Not sure why my review was removed but this app is utterly useless. Claims to have 14 day storage of video but that is a total LIE. It records everything other than what you actually need. Motion sensor? Yeah maybe but not for what actually counts. I have the entire section of video selected for the motion detector settings and still, somehow the video of someone stealing my property directly in sight of my camera is somehow missing. Everything besides them is there. Waste of time and money.

After free services like Alfred I expected more after purchasing the hardware. Visual clarity is good. Audio with 2 way not so much. The user interface is not as simplistic and friendly for beginners.I felt like going through my files as if they weren't my property. I like to save funny things that happen with my kids and save them. With geeni I have given up on trying to do this. because it's too arduous. Even using screen recorders audio is auto dropped.room for improvement.

App has sufficient enought controls for initial setup & daily operation of a wide variety of device's to satisfy my expectations. My one suggestion to upgrade or improve upon is an option to users to either physically or wirelessly connect the camera feed to any other kind of viewing platform, (such as an old PC monitor) Im disappointed there's no option to access a (camera's) devices "line of sight" save for the developer app, via mobile devices.

I have the color, regular, and bright bulbs, and reconnecting after any outage is ridiculous. I have 18 bulbs that I have to individually reconnect to the app and then, reconnect them all back to my alexa to control them and resort... if they reconnect with any kind of consistency in the first place even with good wifi. I plan to not use these products again. Awesome conceptually, but not going to go with sengled next time.

Honestly I had to use YouTube help me install it and then when I finally got it installed I couldn't get it to link with my Google home. There are A lot better light strips out there. Connecting to the Wi-Fi what's not easy was not able to set up to Google. I'm for the price you're paying not a very big strip for so much trouble.

Please add the function to be able to restart the camera or smart device remotely using the Geeni app. All other smart devices I own that are different brands have the ability to restart them remotely via the app. Being these devices are connected via wifi, they will need a manual reboot at times, and I can usually identify this whenever I see the camera picking up motion events less often than normal, and a quick reboot button would greatly help a lot. Thanks.
