This app works as advertised. 5 stars for the dev's work. It's only as good as your phones sensors though, so don't complain about wacky temp readings or crazy altitudes. It's calculating alt based on pressure which is not constant in any room. The temperature is read off an internal sensor, likely near the battery. So it takes a while to change and is most accurate when not in your hands or pocket or direct sun etc.

I actually was able to use screen shots of temp and Humidity to sue a contractor who improperly sized a minisplit system in our new home and caused mold to occur on everything. This was an invaluable tool.

Excellent, i use it everywhere in my phone to check temperatures of AC in offices, house, kitchen, bus, taxi, train, aeroplane etc. I m hvng good fun by gtng to know d real temp around me. It helps me also take proper decision on the machines and the situation according to d climatic sorroundings.

I edited my review. scroll down to see the addition. Original review was: great app. it not only gives you ambient temperature but also humidity, light intensity in lux, altitude and pressure. i think it's pretty accurate as well. great free app! changed rating and added the following. It's accuracy for altitude has gone out the window. it's off by a factor of 10x! contacted the maker and never received a reply. my phone is perfectly calibrated. other apps are very close. can't use it anymore.

It's nice and easy to use. Gives a clear overview over the most useful values. Sadly, since the last update, I get a vibration notification (without visible notification) every time the widget updates – even though notifications in the app are turned off. Took me almost 2 weeks to narrow down, what made my phone vibrate every ~30 minutes. (Galaxy S8, Android 8.0.0)

This is really cool. Wasn't expecting it to be so accurate as far as elevation and humidity.

App is simple to use and relatively accurate. I have used this app for 2 years and it was pretty good, and I think any inaccuracy was due to my old phone enduring a pretty tough life with a lot of beating. I took that one from 350 feet in elevation up to over 14,000 feet hiking in southwest Colorado and it was pretty close in elevation, and also checked out similar numbers to Physics Toolbox Suite. It's a fun app for travel and other uses.

Giving random value even if necessary sensors are not available should be considered as buggy logic... You should either mention as not compatible or zero.... Also initial warning to users to not provide one star rating is awkward..cheers DEVLOPER...
