The large-format images of the day, which come with exceptional sharpness and color intensity - and therefore appear particularly dynamic and emotional. The reader-friendly magazine layout without annoying advertising banners. Dive deeper into the data behind a story with interactive graphics. And: Test your knowledge with our daily quiz or relax with the daily Sudoku on the tablet.
The FR has received several international awards for its app, including a main prize at the European Newspaper Award – something like the European newspaper Oscar.
You can get our app with a day pass as well as with a subscription. You can take out your subscription directly in the FR app; it will be charged to your Google Account once you confirm your order. The subscription will automatically renew for the subscription period you have selected - unless you deactivate the extension 24 hours before the start of a new subscription interval. You can deactivate your subscription renewal on the tablet under Settings/Store via your Google Account. It is not possible to cancel a subscription period that has already started.
If you wish, almost all articles and functions of this app can be accessed without online access after downloading. You decide whether the content is only loaded via WLAN or also via mobile phone connections - and whether photo series should be included or not. In the end, you can read the Frankfurter Rundschau anywhere you want: on the train, on the plane, in the café. Even without internet access.
