This app needs a rooted device that supports moving apps to SD. Use at your own risk. Download the free lite version to make sure it works on your device. (It may not work on Lollipop!) Save precious application storage! Force2SD lets you force many apps to move to SD card/external storage even when the system would not allow you to move them, thereby saving space in the app storage area. While Android as of version 2.2 introduced the feature that lets you move apps to SD card/external storage, it normally only allows the movement of applications explicitly marked by the developer as movable. Force2SD moves many applications not marked as movable. You can also move applications back, and sort alphabetically or by apk size. By default (you can turn this off) Force2SD will also scan for orphan app files on your SD card when starting. (Not yet working on Lollipop.)Sometimes, the system fails to delete the app file on the SD card when the app is uninstalled. If any orphan files are found, you will be asked if you want to delete them. This may help with some reboot issues. Note 1: Applications moved to SD card / external storage will not get an on-boot signal when the device is booted up. So, do not move applications that need to perform some operations on boot. Of course, you should always be able to move these applications back if you're having problems. As a bonus, if you don't want an application starting up on boot, you can use Force2SD to move it. Note 2: After a reboot, it make take a while (even a couple of minutes) for the OS to show up the icons of apps that have been moved. That is normal--that's how the OS's apps-on-SD feature works. Note 3: Some protected apps cannot move. Note 4: The first time you start the app, it will do a slower scan of applications.
App ChangeLog

- Scan for orphan files on SD card (not for Lollipop)

Doesn't work for me. I have an HTC One m9 Verizon Lollipop. All apps I tried to move do not work with classic or new method.

App does not work. Tried both methods. I paid for this app so i would appreciate some help.

Doesn't work is the any apps that do anymore

I hope others will read this. Your app will cease any and all operations in progress when screen times out, or if any part of the screen is tapped, or if the display simply ROTATES. Worse, though, is that if interrupted by such, the app being moved MUST be complety reinstalled because the data moved before the break remains incomplete on the sd & phone storage, broken up. I am not satisfied at all, and would have gladly paid another app writer with a similar program. Don't charge for this type.

Great idea to save up the extra memory! I may have broken it though by moving the app itself to SD. Uh oh! Update: Yep! Even after reboot. It's gone.. 😒 that was fun whilst it lasted.

Thanks dev! People my description is on top, except to say so simple. Great. Could you make non root? Maaan - that would help so many people. But for root, this works PERFECT!!

Can't recommend. It's cheap. I bought several products. I installed a 32 Gig chip in my eMOTO. BUT almost none of the items/programs/storage will move. I bought the app to keep all my maps in a huge file, and still use the phone. That's just not working. It's just not working

Does what it says. I would give 5 stars except that the app shortcut pictures are not preserved. They appear as if they are not useable, but they still are.

OK, this is gold. I got a 32MB Class 10 UHS I SD card, and this app allows me to move many apps that can't be moved to the external SD (in some case for no apparent reason). As my card is fast, there's no speed problems, lagging. Of course not ALL apps can be moved, even when allowed to, so one gotta use this with caution ;) Thanks, guys!

Not working on lollipop and I bought it .worked fine on KitKat
