Flickr is an excellent place to share my pictures. While it's primarily geared towards photography , it has been surprisingly receptive to my paintings and digital art. However , I do think that there is still room for improvement. I would like to see more features such as follow suggestions and curated collections similar to those on Google+ ( R.I.P. ). Overall , I like Flickr very much and look forward to seeing new developments.

used to be so much better. you can no longer scroll through the complete photostream (it only goes back about 200 photos). so there's no way to find old photos that haven't been labelled. and the 'Select' button is gone. so i can't change e.g. the privacy of multiple photos at once. I use it every day but this is forcing me to go back to the PC 😵

I used to use the app as much as the desktop version. Now I'm paying double for 1/2 the function since the app won't upload automatically (or manually) or even download. And people have been complaining about this for MONTHS. The only improvement I see in the April update is the app no longer crashes. But still, it shouldn't be doing that anyway for $50/year. PLEASE fix the upload and download issues so we can feel like we're getting what we're paying for. We had better service @ $25/yr.

Flickr has always been a good app but recently with the changes, it's been inconvenient to say the least. Apart from no timeline, I now can't share photo's to my phone or anywhere else. I appreciate and understand the transition and have also been following the forum. Hopefully things will be back to normal soon and can raise your rating back to a 5 star where it has always been.

Used to be a 5 star app, but the auto-uploading function has stopped working properly. Has been an ongoing issue for at least 9 months now with little to no response from developers on a fix. Really unfortunate for what used to be a great app and my go-to for my cloud photo storage. Considering the Google and Amazon alternatives more and more these days.

I started using Flickr when the Yahoo Photos service was terminated. It gave me a free trial as a pro user, then defaulted to free with a 200 photo limit. Then came the free 1 TB. Then the sell off to smug mug. I read my mail today telling me I need to upgrade to pro for $50 or they will delete all but my most recent 1000 photos. I have over 4000 photos. I am not happy because when you offer something to your customer, you don't turn around and take it away, even if you are sold and under new ownership. If I did that to my customers, I'd be ashamed and out of business. I think keeping your word is everything, because if you can't do that, then you are already sunk. I will move my photos and close my account. If i have to pay for photo storage/sharing so be it , but it will not be with Flickr.

Its slow to use. I take a photo, open up the app and have to wait for the photo to upload before i can do anything. The interface feels clunky, I find myself going back and forwards in the app a lot to do simple tasks. I like the flickr service and have paid for the pro subscription but it would be nicer if this app was just a little slicker.

I've been using Flickr for a decade now, and it desperately needs refreshing. Buggy and constantly in the shadow of Instagram et al. The UI is okay, but won't attract newbies. Now post server update the app is unusable. This is dire. Loads of people, myself included, pay for Flickr, and we can't use it. In 2019, this is not acceptable.

I've had the Flickr app for 6+ yrs & never had a problem. I've never logged out, but today I was having so many problems with the app & the site, that I logged out, thinking that would help. Now I can't get back in. It keeps asking me to prove I'm not a robot by identifying objects, which I keep doing — over & over. The images are very grainy, so its hard to make them out, but I'm stuck in a never ending loop of trying to prove I'm not a robot. Help!

I've used Flickr for years, and recently paid for the pro version. That's why I'm so disgusted that the app keeps crashing on my Samsung Galaxy S8. I have to manually go into the app turn off the auto uploader, wait 30 seconds or longer then turn it back on. Then finally my phone photos will upload to Flickr on my laptop. I've reported this many times, but it just keeps happening. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app many times to no Avail. Why am I paying money to Flickr for this?
