Went invisible on my home screen. It was still there because when I'd hold down over where it was it would pop up and ask if I wanted to delete the widget, but if I tapped it out wouldn't turn the flashlight on/off. Tried re-adding it to my home screen, and it would just disappear again.

If it stops working, the OS has put it to sleep. (Probably due to the power settings you set.) To fix, navigate to "App Power Management". Add "Flashlight Widget" to "Apps that won't be put to sleep".

I have the Samsung Galaxy s8. when I first got the phone the flashlight widget worked. after the phone got its last major update the widget does not work. the icon does not show up on the phone screen where you can turn off and on.

Great replacement for the widget that was either missing or (worse, yet) removed. One touch on, one touch off. I wonder why Samsung thinks the best way to use the flashlight is to drill down through menus...

Muzzy is right..it is f* useless if you have a note 8 which I do also...it just takes up space under widgets / makes a great picture . Why can't you people stop trying to make these phones BETTER"!! and work on having them do what they should. Lord knows we PAY ENOUGH for them!!!!@#%^&**. (the more you pay-the less you get..probably because you want us to upgrade every six months & pay a fortune)...NO WAY!

Worked great. Then stopped on Nougat..I did not WANT NOUGAT. I do not want BIXBY..Damsung is cutting off its nose.
