Fix Permissions Requires Root Access. Fix permissions should do the same thing the script does which is available in almost all recoveries, The benefit to this app is that you don't need to reboot into recovery mode to fix those apps that are FC. I will be adding a fix all option here soon. Description: Sometimes flashing roms, playing with permissions, or performing other root operation can cause the Android system to forget which UID is associated with an application. In reality it does not forget this, it just issues the app a new id and is oblivious to the fact that it already had an id. When this occurs some apps can start force closing due to the UID mismatch between the UID that the system has assigned to the app and the UID that owns that apps data directory. This app will resolve these problems. If you have an app constantly force closing you can try using this app to see if it will resolve the issue. Well , it's a long story why I downloaded this app but some things made me think there was something wrong with my permissions. I don't know if it's helping yet but most likely wont hurt to keep it a while longer. Very simple to use, and I like that.

I wiped my dalvik caache and fixed permissions resulting in all apps force closing, and all their data wiped off. THis app was a boon, just a click and the apps started working, coupled wiht titanium backup to restore their data! Thumbs up!

Thank you for the AMAZING app. This app firxed my phone's start-up force closing problem with a few apps. No more slow start-ups do to force closing. Now I just need to find out what app is force closing when I browse the web so I can fix tha and the phone with be flawless. Can't wait for the Fix All button so it can just fix the problem for me without having to go through all of the apps. I will be supporting the developer by buying the paid version. Well.. I have to admit.. this app works well in my phones..fyi , I've used v6 supercharge and use its fc fixer but it doesn't work..and skeptically install this app..but after one click ...voila! My app runs well again!..thank u

Had a few issues after my Jelly Bean upgrade. I love how you can fix permissions for just one app without going through a huge script in recovery or an app like rom manager.

Titanium backup couldn't find my backup folder on my sd card. After lots of Googling I found out about this app. In one of the reviews someone said they had this same problem. So I tried this app. It worked and now Titanium Backup can find my sd card. To the developer I say thank you very much. Being able to use Titanium Backup is very important to this Android user.
