Nintendo's hit strategy-RPG Fire Emblem series, which has been going strong for more than 25 years, continues its journey on smart devices.

Fight battles customized for touch screens and on-the-go play. Summon characters from across the Fire Emblem universe. Develop your Heroes' skills, and take them to new heights. This is your adventure—a Fire Emblem that's like nothing you've seen before!

This application is free to download and offers some optional in-app purchases.

■ An epic quest

The game features an ongoing, original story where new characters and dozens upon dozens of battle-tested Heroes from across the Fire Emblem universe meet.

There are over 800 story stages available as of July 2019! (This total includes all difficulty modes.) Clear these story stages and you'll earn Orbs, which are used for summoning Heroes.
New story chapters are added frequently, so don't miss out!

■ Intense battles

Take part in strategic turn-based battles streamlined for on-the-go play with maps that fit in the palm of your hand! You'll need to think hard about the advantages and disadvantages of each Hero's weapon...and even evaluate the map itself as you battle. Lead your army with easy touch-and-drag controls, including the ability to attack by simply swiping an ally over an enemy.

New to strategic turn-based battles? Don't worry! Use the Auto-Battle option to have your characters fight on their own.

■ Strengthen your favorite Heroes

There are many ways to strengthen your allies: leveling, skills, weapons, equipable items, and more. Take your characters to greater and greater heights as you battle for victory.

■ Replayable modes

In addition to the main story, there are many other modes where you can strengthen your allies, compete against other players, and more.

■ Original characters meet legendary Heroes

The game features numerous Hero characters from the Fire Emblem series and brand-new characters created by artists Yusuke Kozaki, Shigeki Maeshima, and Yoshiku. Some Heroes will fight at your side as allies, while others may stand in your way as fierce enemies to be defeated and added to your army.

Yeah, I mean it's a pretty freaking good game. I've been playing for a good 3-4 years. Nothing bad to say about the game besides some of the missions can punch you right In the stomach even though I'm dumb strong, but I digress. I'm giving it a 4.3 the other .7 is just because if you have already done about everything you're just left with leveling base companions.. and boy did I, well I guess that's just my fault.. screw it I give 5 stars its a good game, download it if you want to have fun. :)

  2. Nai Doelcam-avatar

fire emblem heroes wiki Been playing since the first day basically every single day. Don't listen to the reviews saying you need to spend cash. I have been in top tier in multiple modes for years and haven't needed to spend a dime on the characters I use. It's nice that you get enough summons as a free-to-play to stay on the same level as whales, just takes some strategy. I like the strategy and how characters can inherit skills from each other as well as how much you can build whatever character you want to be good.

  3. E C-avatar

fire emblem heroes reddit As time goes on the dirty underbelly of this game keeps growing. It started off great. Gameplay, strategy and everything else. But now its fallen into a greedily and greedier void. With no signs of stopping. Not with the FEH PASS and the recent events showing the obvious signs.

  4. Mau Blossom-avatar

fire emblem heroes gamepress Really enjoy the game. Day 1 player & I must say that the game has evolved quite a bit since that release. I can understand how more serious players have a problem with the paywalls to be better. But really if you're a casual player, such as myself, it doesn't phase you. If you enjoy collecting heros, some fun story & aren't all that worried about rank in the game, you'll enjoy this game without touching your bank account (unless you want resplendent heros). Just have fun with it like I do.

  5. Domnom2288-avatar

fire emblem heroes characters So. Much. Stuff. There are so many little collectables and whatnot that it's impossible to keep track of. As well as this, orbs are too hard to aquire considering how important they are in the game, and they cost way too much. The gameplay is fun but the orbs make it fell like it's impossible to play without in-app purchases. I don't mind it as much in other games when the rarer currency is less important and easier to aquire like in Clash Royale, but in this game it feels oppressive.

  6. Brian Rafferty-avatar

fire emblem heroes edelgard Needs a cell phone with enough RAM and GB storage to run properly. My android has 1.2 GB of free space and less than 300 RAM and crashes constantly (mostly in menu screens). I've done what I could to free up space, and 1.2 free space is best I can do without giving up important apps. I really like this game including the modes, rewards, and playstyles it's shown me. As someone who likes to collect and build things, it's been a fun experience overall as a long term, quick and fun strategy game.

fire emblem heroes byleth 6/26/2020: I've been playing for about three years and during this time I've dropped a few thousand on the game. Despite this, it's incredibly difficult to remain within the upper ranks without continuing to drop larger and larger sums of cash. I tried FEHpass and recently let it run out. Now I see that I was pretty heavily reliant on the auto run feature that really should have been free in the first place. I truly love this game, but all this💰 got me 💔 Previous reviews: (👍)( Still pretty👌)

  8. Tayyeba Sadaq-avatar

fire emblem heroes unit builder Absolutely love this game. The way it plays and graphics are amazing. Some are saying it's very pay to play but I don't see this to be the case as I never invest actual money (due to having the inability to) and yet I can still enjoy the game as well as anyone who invests money. Wonderful and very difficult to put down. Can't see myself uninstalling as I do with may games. Each update brings something new and exciting to re-excite me.

  9. あ3J-avatar

fire emblem heroes pc I really like the simple characters and gameplay in this version of FE. I also like how older characters are rebooted, making them stand out more. I do think you could do a bit more work on this game, maybe expanding maps, like in other FE games, where the map isn't just one screen. That's all I have to say. I really love the game though.

  10. Lightning !-avatar

fire emblem heroes apk 9/26/18: So good!... 7/7/20: The game relies on powercreep far too much and has very visibly gotten much greedier, making new modes that very obviously require a new Hero type at high merges to score well in. Resplendent Heroes are a bit wack, and Feh Pass features should've been added for free, but this was a somewhat acceptable level of greediness. They have crossed that threshold and the game has suffered for it.

  11. Sam Laird-avatar

I like this game a lot. I've played it for about 2 years and I've had a lot of fun with it. So believe me when I say: it's trash. The game is garbage that gets carried by its franchise. Powercreep moves at a breakneck pace, making high-level play in PvP modes impossible without spending. The writing is non-existent; FEH's OCs develop more in Dragalia Lost's crossover events than their own game. Auto-repeat, a basic QoL feature for gacha games, is $10 a month. I love this game, but it sucks.

  12. Leonardo Morales-avatar

    Leonardo Morales

You should have no reason to play this game unless you're a die-hard Fire Emblem fan. The roster is bloated, so who knows when your favorite character will show up in a banner again. The meta is hilariously unbalanced and actually pretty entertaining to watch with each update. It's pay-to-collect now with Feh Pass. The dialogue is alright; sometimes sounds like it's written by a grade schooler. Overall, if you're just in it for the pretty art, just download the PNGs onto your phone or something.

  13. Nicodemo Hazard-avatar

    Nicodemo Hazard

This game for f2p players becomes frustrating gradually...getting five star heroes is a hell and usually the f2p units are trash or some are good. If you want to get orbs it requires a lot of time and sometimes if you have a ton to summon you still have a chance of not getting a 5 star, this damn game is freaking greedy, it's better to buy three houses.

  14. Trent Self-avatar

I would rate this 5 stars but the pay to play mechanic always makes me take a star away, although it doesnt really matter because you can get just as good through playing the game. Still though, this is an amazing game that any fire emblem fan should play. The game play is easy for any newcomer to the series and is just a easier version for fire emblem veterans.

  15. Clayford Renzo-avatar

I've been playing this game for two years now and honestly, I'm having fun with it even though the game is inching towards pay-to-win. But for some odd reason, the game won't let me play anymore. Everytime I log-in it says "communications error". I've tried other games but they seem to be good. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but to no avail. Please fix this issue

  16. Maya Hicks-avatar

I really enjoy FeH. I do. But the longer I played the more bad things I started to find. First, once you run out of ways to get gems, you might as well stop playing because gems are basically your lifeline. Second, when you inherit a skill from a different hero, the hero you took the skill from DISSAPEARS FOREVER. That is one of the WORST game mechanics I've ever come across. It would make total sense if the skill just left the hero, but no, you lose the entire hero. Oh, and feh pass is just bad

  17. Quintin Koevoets-avatar

    Quintin Koevoets

The mechanics are simple but numerous so whether you're playing casually or not there's something for everyone. however, the game feels as though it's missing some rather important elements to it such as a real time pvp or a more reliable grinding method. This brings me to the let down. It really is a gacha. There is way to little free 2 play rewards that i end up saving for 6+ months only to be let down when i get nothing I'm looking for. But ultimately a great game

  18. Timothy Douglass-avatar

    Timothy Douglass

I really enjoy the game! There is a generous gatcha system, especially for new players, and regular updates mean there is always something new. You don't need to grind too much either. There is a bit of a powercreep issue, meaning new characters are way more powerful than old ones, however this doesn't mean old ones are unusable. A very good game, very different to other fire emblem games but quite fun nonetheless. 4/5 from me :)

  19. Khezu MH-avatar

Without a doubt a good strategic title for both strangers and veterans to the series. Been playing since release; long enough for the flaws to fully settle in. Main issue is with balancing. Feels like every focus just one-ups the last, and the earlier released units are long left in the dust. They keep adding more and more ways to power up your units, and with forma, builds can get broken easily. Makes for frustrating PvP, especially high tier. Lots of modes to play, many of them are same old.

  20. Chief 8017-avatar

Greedy game years after years they care only about the money and they monetize every single mode (arena, arena assault, allegiance battle aether raid, mjolnir strike and now resonant battle). The summoning system with their worthless off focus character that you will get 90% of the time before getting your focus. Stupid overpriced packs, worthless feh pass, dont support these greedy guys you will only get disappointed every time. Go support some worthy company like Cygames #Dragalia Lost

  21. Otaku Gamer4898-avatar

    Otaku Gamer4898

I really like this game a lot but in recent months it's very much been going towards the Pay 2 Win players. Especially the new game mode Resonant Battles that give AI bloated stats and very much not a fun experience both for new comers and Free 2 Play players. And the pass is just a different story, why try to get more money when your product is the best one of your mobile games? But it does play nice, and simple easy to get into but that's all I'll give it. If your F2P luck be with you.

  22. J. Fang-avatar

I've played feh for more than 3 years. Dabbled with fehpass and locking continuous autobattle behind a paywall is really disappointing. Especially because it's only useful for players who grind the f2p dungeons for feathers and orbs. The alternate skins make sense to cost money but basic quality of life features behind a paywall really puts a damp on the experience.

  23. Inkling_gamer33-avatar

I love the fire emblem series since we got it in NA. Good graphics, great choice of character illustrations, and above all mythic and legendary heroes, mythics have either Light, Dark, Anima, or Astra blessing already conferred. Legendary Heroes have either Fire, Water, Earth, or Wind blessings. The only thing, you can't confer a different blessing to them. Overall, the story, characters and the music are amazing.

  24. Ergo Fractale-avatar

An engaging mobile experience on many levels. Well-realized strategy gameplay mixed with a wide selection of characters and skills/items to equip. The game also stands above some similar games with quality English voicework Importantly, it is fairly generous as these "gacha" games go. And even if you have bad luck summoning, it gives you some very good gameplay units as you progress through the story mode that remain viable even in the toughest challenges.

  25. Bones Sama-avatar

Great game to play for 10-30 mins every day. Unless you go hard on PvP modes and care about rankings, you can coast along just fine without pouring in money. That said, if you DO want certain characters, you risk the same gacha hell as every other gacha type game. It's better to chill, be patient and take time with the game than hope to roll that 5* only unit (or heaven forbid, try 10+ing it) on random banners. So stay chill, stay comfy and this is a great little timewaster.

  26. Blazing Roy-avatar

The only problem is beefy heroes you can pay for with cool skins. People dont like to pay for things that can be free, but that being noted, whales keep the game free for us,which is why we really don't get much.It may seem greedy and unfair, but as a ftp,you get what you play for. Banner heroes we normally get at,but its not the featured, unless you're lucky and can get all of 'em.FEH in a nutshell is grind or pay to keep up with killing stronger/better chibis in a chesslike scenario. But it's fun

  27. Gabriel Sanchez-avatar

    Gabriel Sanchez

Yeah, the game is only good at the beginning. Building your units to match up against various opponents is what makes the game fun. But, after you spent the majority of the ingame currency and built your favorite units, you'll be stuck doing repeat challenges or waiting until the next legendary/mythic map appears. Personally, I restarted this game more than any other I've ever played simply because of the beginning. Now I'm going back to square one.

  28. Bleep Bloop-avatar

I thought this was going to be bad from what the reviews said. Honestly, it's not that bad. It's not a p2w, and the gacha rates are fair (though I wish it was a bit harder). And with the on going event you get free 5* heroes. It's also really addicting and fun. The only problem I have is the stamina, but I can wait/ recharge it with orbs. I recommened this game to anyone who's bored and needs something fun to play.

  29. Santiago del Busto-avatar

    Santiago del Busto

I'd love to give this game a higher rating because it IS quite good and is in fact my favorite mobile game. However they crossed the line and put stat boosts behind a paywall. It would've been perfectly fine if they only were cosmetic changes, but boosting your heroes' stats with real money with literally no possible way of obtaining them by F2P means is the very definition of a P2W feature.

  30. Ignacio Sánchez-avatar

    Ignacio Sánchez

I have played the game nearly since the release and man. I miss those days. The game was so much funnier without things like the Feh pass. I used to play a lot everyday but I lost interest and just open the game to get my free orbs and summons. I wont rate this game bad because I would be lying on how much fun I had in the past trying to get the units I loved or trying to get my palla to +10. Or when takumi was literally god in the game. Or the meta when L!Lyndis was in every team. GG IS :(

  31. Rivi-avatar

I love the game, but it's becoming terrible, the constant focus on young female units getting absolutely amazing stats and weapons and stats, and males almost getting nothing is just a minor gripe, my major issue is that the game is now gating many quality of life features behind pay walls, first feh pass and now forma souls, completely ignoring f2p players, unless this game starts being fair to players it could, like it's other nintendo mobile games, fall under

  32. plaid blitzer-avatar

Game's pretty fun; I love strategy games and the gameplay in this is pretty solid. Couple of issues, though--I get connection errors with annoying frequency even while performing the simplest of tasks, like retrieving gifts from my mailbox. Other one is kind of a personal gripe. Part of the fun for me is crafting a team based on aesthetics and then making the best out of them with what I've got, but uh. I'm gay. So the gachas with 5 girls and one less-than-interesting guy disappoint me a little.

  33. Francis A-avatar

Took a couple of years, the game finally added a system that lets you get the characters you want - though it's not for all summoning sessions sessions. Game is finally less of predatory gambling simulation so it gets 2 stars now, but still has a scummy business model. Game locks quality of life options like continuous auto behind a pay wall.

  34. Joshua 1:9-avatar

Tremendous experience having played since launch 3 years ago. If played a little each day to gain login bonuses and complete challenges, you gain more than enough in-game currency to not have to spend any real money whatsoever. You can save up your in-game currency and focus on summoning your favorite characters and assemble a good enough team to compete in challenges and to some extent the PVP modes. Beautiful artwork, amazing effort with all of the voice acting, & attention to feedback

  35. Dylan-avatar

Very pay to play. The amount of free resources, especially orbs, is very low. FEH Pass us thrown in your face daily, trying to coerce you into paying $10 a month for decent art and auto repeat, something ALMOST EVERY other gacha has FOR FREE. Intelligent Systems doesn't read reviews nor do they care about players' feedback. This game used to be good but then the powercreep came in and your favorites are no longer viable if you want to do good in PvP

  36. A Google user-avatar

Don't get me wrong, I love this game and its graphics. But the gacha sucks! I spend money to only not summon the unit I just spent like a 100$ on! Plus, half of the heroes are just from Fates and Awakening and focuses too much on any range of character just to give them a million versions of said character while showing no love to some of the older games.

  37. José Gregorio Arévalo Piña-avatar

    José Gregorio Arévalo Piña

Please, don't even bother trying downloading this game. Feh Pass is the greatest scam ever! Now everything is behind a paywall. Plus everyone but you will get all the Mythic, Legendary and 5-stars heroes. It doesn't matter how much money you throw on Orbs, you just will keep getting all the 4-star and lower-rating heroes, but also not the good ones, just the bad ones. 900 orbs and not a single Mirabilis. Seriously, please, don't even try…

  38. Sam Bailey-avatar

It's an absolutely well developed game. Runs absolutely flawlessly. Don't be fooled by people complaining about the $10 monthly pass. It is worth it. Trust me. If you are going to complain about a feature that helps support the game and is just simply amazing, then chances are you have more pressing issues (like trying to somehow scrounge together a measly 10 dollars). It's simply the best in it's genre. FeH pass is here to stay. It's not going away. Ever. And let's face it. Neither are you.

2020.06.21 - I feel compelled to write an updated review. I'm a day 1 player and I've enjoyed playing this game through the years despite powercreep and dynamic paywalls for better units, but locking QoL features behind a new paywall is ridiculous. Please rework FEHpass. 2018.11.26 - It's alright. Great for long time Fire Emblem fans, also works as a good introduction for newbies. Room for improvement can be made, but generally an enjoyable experience. Mostly playing until Three Houses.

  40. khoh jiajun-avatar

Right now the game is just pay to win as you gonna waste 10 dollar to get skin with some extra stat and some vip mission that make the the game become a gambling game. And if you want to play this game without paying u gonna wait another month just to get 15 orb that u can only summon 3 character. But in my opinion is a okay rating as they have many event that can get some orb and stuff but i don't like the price for a vip pass.

  41. Tommy Pham-avatar

It is very good game. I love this game. I play this game since 1 day. I like characters in this game that come from not this game. My favourite character in this game is Nino. Because she tries her best everytim. Nino needs more characters because i spend money on this game. Nino is best character right next to Tobin from Fir Embl Shadw of ValNsheA.

  42. Kevin Lewis-avatar

One of the best mobile games I've played. The graphics are great and the Summoning is so addicting, you never know who you'll get though 4 stars are more frequentlysummoned, I have like 20-5 stars. The point is that I believe the summons are the best part of the game, and the story is so interesting so many twists. Like a pack of twizzlers(sorry if you don't like twizzlers)(though the whole game is great all in all). So I highly reccommend this game.

  43. Yuli K-avatar

Best game I've ever played in my life. The storyline is good. The characters are good too. You also get a free 5 star hero at the frikking beginning, which is amazing. I also like how there are movies too. So this game DESERVES a 5 star

  44. Hang it-avatar

I like this game. I've been playing it for a couple of months, and I've found nothing wrong with it (besides the women who are barely wearing clothes) I don't get why people are complaining. I've been playing this, and I've never encountered a "play to win" situation. You don't have to pay to win. As for the feh pass, just don't buy it. It's a good game, and all these reviews people are putting down are just trash. This is probably the closest I'll ever get to a FE game, and I love it!

  45. Shiffle-avatar

Absolutely love the game! I have been playing it on different accounts with friends for years and I don't think I will ever be stopping. A lot of people say its very pay to play or pay to win but I don't think it is! You just gotta actually play and get lucky to be able to get what you want!

  46. Paulololol 999-avatar

I've been playing this game since launch and I have also spent money from time to time but now that they have added a subscription, they have just crossed the line of a good game that can be F2P to a money cash grab sad state of a game.

  47. Sarah Sweeney-avatar

I have been playing since day one. I appreciate this game and how much they update it. Playing this app has helped with strategizing in the console games by help to teach me about certain skills. I look forward to the future of this game.

  48. Slender DX1530-avatar

Its been 3 years since i played this game and the game is getting to boring because its all summoning. Note to self this game is more likely wasting money on orbs cuz of summoning and when summoning on a banner and getting off banner is really annoying and not getting the characters that people want...

  49. Kai _-avatar

I uses to rate the game 5 stars, they always seemed to genuinely care about F2P. Though with the 3 year in its name and money gain getting lower they've been giving more and more to thsie willing to pay. And leaving us who cant spend much in the dust.

  50. Joel Evans-avatar

Fun game for anyone who is a fan of the Fire Emblem franchise and anyone who like turn based games. Great selection of character to choose from and many great features that keep game play interesting. Game definitely has a lot of promise.

  51. Aaron Connell-avatar

Very fun app with a fairly good gotcha-pond all things considering. Though not as good as the true fire emblem titles, it is a solid app that I tend to play everyday. Sadly the feh pass is grossly overpriced so I can't recommend that unless it drops to $5 a month in which case I could recommend it. $10 a month is ridiculous.

  52. Scott Smart-avatar

Like any mobile game with in app purchases. Profit is top priority, plenty of bait, typical corporate gaming experience. Be prepared to spend the equivalent of a week's rent to obtain a single 5 star unit with an attack flaw.

  53. Williardo Peacecraft-avatar

    Williardo Peacecraft

Amazing game, especially for old fans of the series. Fire emblem gameplay works flawlessly on mobile. Amazing character building, let's you trade skills between chars for limitless options. Tactics on tactics. I'd love some large scale wave survival levels someday - BIGGER MAPS! Also maybe dial down the lewdness a little, I get that sex sells but lets retain some class.

  54. Roman Ultor-avatar

Dumbed down Fire Emblem but still fun. No real pvp is a bit of a negative. Lots of fun units to collect from the entire FE universe especially if you're a previous FE fan, some unique to the mobile game. Very generous game giving away your choice of nat 5s occasionally and letting everyone have 1 free roll on every banner. Not much else to say. It's a good game. Needing multiple of each unit to max them and the secret IV/nature system are the worst flaws.

  55. Shades-avatar

So many bad reviews by irresponsible people and entitled dumbasses, listen f2p person here, all these negative people are just a bunch of salty kids that can't manage their money correctly, be smart with your orbs and you'll never have a problem. While there are optimal setups, they always have a counter, just get some decent units and play smart and you'll be fine.

  56. Insert_Name_Here-avatar

Once you finish all the stuff that gives you f2p gems, you can't get any more until the next arena season, event, or just daily. I wanted that legendary eliwood so badly, but I had less than enough for summoning stuff. They need to add more f2p gems for non pay-to-win players.

  57. Berlin Woody-avatar

I was looking for a game for my phone because I didn't like the ones that came already loaded. I looked in the Samsung store and this was one of the reccomended games I figured. I would try it. I found out later that this game series had a large following. I can't stop playing since I started.

  58. JW T-avatar

Pay to win, made for whales, typical gacha that will make you vomit blood in frustration with unreasonable bad luck and astronomically low probability pullsa. Avoid unless you are a whale or just want to collect FE heroes without regard to your score etc

Great if you've got disposable income. All the Nintendo polish and support. But it's a gotcha game in the end, so expect to drop alot on micro transactions. Fine for me, but not for someone looking for a buy and play game.

  60. Brandon Lawson-avatar

Love the Fire Emblem series from when i was little. My only issue is with the luck of summoning. I've reached 5% on five star focus on one banner and only managed to get a Five Star character on the 40/40 summon requirement. Would love if the percentage of 5 star was a little higher

from gameboy to some english translated games. from hacks and now this. It even has lite version. Thanks for the Legendary Altina and other free heroes. Looking forward for more stuffs and also I suggest some weekly quests that gives orbs from 5-10 just suggesting as free to play player

  62. Donte I.-avatar

I love the fire emblem series but this game is just greedy the low drop rates for 5* characters is just ridiculous it wasn't always like this but with each update this game keeps getting more and more money hungry it seems.

  63. BadJest-avatar

Good fun, and allows unlike some games to take your fav unit from 1 star to 5 instead of limiting then to say 3 or 4. And the transfer of skills allows for customised builds to fit your ideal unit.

  64. James Corder-avatar

the new unit guarenteed change was great, please do something about the gen 1 units not being available or good enough. Maybe make year 1 banner 2 orbs a pull? Update: Premium was removed from my items by error, they can confirm but will not restore.

Great game, but after downloading it, I had to start from the beginning and lost all of my progress, orbs, and purchases, even though I had my google account linked. Major bummer there.

  66. J McGrath-avatar

Editing a past review: Rates were absolutely gutted. Used to be a 5* unit every 1-2 full rotations, now I'm going 4-5 before it gives me a 5* not even on the banner. Uninstalling again, this time for good.

  67. Anthony Zheng-avatar

Auto Repeating should already be in the game without paying for it. Dragalia has a better system. Try learning from them, or something.

  68. C L-avatar

Pretty fun, if you enjoy the series it is even more enjoyable. Fun to "build" your favorite characters and pit them against the characters of the entire franchise. Power creep is real though.

  69. JJ Felders-avatar

I've been playing this game since launch, and it's become one of the best gatchas around. It's easy to pick up and play at any time, and you're generally given enough resources to where any money you pay is because you want to, not because you have to. Definitely worth a look.

  70. Asher Ortega-avatar

If you are looking for a way to spend your time while having fun, this game is one of the best examples. You never run out of things to do while playing, and best of all, it's free. I love this game, though I'm not the best at it, but it is one of my favorite things to do in my free time.

  71. Caleb Kim-avatar

Ive been playing for 3 years and it was an excellent experience. Not anymore. The subscription service that was added has ruined the goodwill that the game had. This is beyond scummy. To put in perspective it cost $20 to have switch online for a year while it costs $120 to have the "feh pass". Its heartwrenching to leave a bad review for a game I play every day but the company shows no sign of getting rid of it.

  72. SAD EGG-avatar

This is a fun game but it is hard to get orbs to unlock more heroes. they obviously do this so you have to pay money...

  73. Angel Delfin-avatar

Hero exchange with friend players would be nice tho. Overall it's an easy pick up game and every strategy lets you think a lot for the next move. Though i dont want any FEH pass rewards if it's only available for those who payed 🤷‍♀️

  74. Shawn Oxley-avatar

Tbh I got bored when I completed all the story months ago and I've found it hard to get back into because of the drastic changes but not many quality of life changes or having more simple content like story adding the menus also feel pretty clunky

  75. Alicia KBIDI-avatar

It used to be my favourite mobile game, before they introduced the pay to win pass. I never thought I would have to give it less than 5*: QoL changes that players have been asking for are locked behind a paywall. "Collectors" cannot get all the units unless they pay a pass that costs 12€/month. Stats boosts are given only to players who pay. I feel like the balance of the game and the spirit it had this past 3 years are now gone. Nintendo, I am so disappointed in you...

  76. Riketr-avatar

Day 1 player here and massive Fire Emblem fan here. Used to be pretty great with balancing issues that, at the end of the day, I could get over. Enter Feh Pass, a subscription service that Nintendo's most profitable mobile game did not need. Now for an unreasonable price, you can buy buffs for your units, among other features that games like this already give out for free. I have never seen the quality of a game drop so far, so fast.

  77. Alli Riggs-avatar

I really liked FEH at first, it was fun and challenging, and I loved the feeling of getting the heroes I wanted. Now, though, it's just a desperate cash grab. With a $10 monthly subscription service and extremely limited amounts of free orbs, the game has lost it's charm. Normally I'd hold onto the app in hopes that it would improve later on, but since the game is a whopping 2.8 gigabytes, and my phone only has 16 for literally everything, I have no choice but to say goodbye to FEH for good.

  78. J Alexander-avatar

This app is amazing being a fire emblem fan myself it has a cool story cool characters and is overall great one problem i do have though is there is a point where the orbs are hard to grind since there isnt much ways to get them but other then that its pretty good

I love the Fire Emblem franchise and play this game everyday but I wish the new characters wouldn't constantly outclass existing characters. The power creep is a real problem.

  80. J. Paatero-avatar

Very nice game. Easy to approach, gets very deep eventually. You can very well play without pay, as long as you do not need to get to the very top.

  81. NotVeemoWoomy-avatar

Its a really good game and I enjoy it but if I could add something it would be a button to reset the story so you can redo it to get orbs since after you beat Normal and hard, lunatic is really hard beating and some people need more orbs.

  82. Brent Krieger-avatar

The game is initially great but it takes way too much time out of the day. Most gacha games aim to minimize the time you spend on dailies or events, making them quick. FEH does the opposite. Weekly events take FOREVER to clear and that's with the auto battle feature. But if you're willing to pay them $10 a month you won't have this issue. Weekly events are just fillers so I.S. doesn't have to make new content. Seriously there are like 12 different weekly events all going on at the same time....

Been playing since (almost) launch. The early days were fun, but powercreep has taken its toll. Some characters, like Jaffar, are doomed by mediocre statlines. Others, like Takumi, have very weak refines. In particular, I don't agree with the characterization of early game prepromotes, like Seth and Titania. Ironically, they would have done better if they had been *enemy* commanders (like Reinhardt), instead of the Lord's allies. I don't know how much longer I'll stay around, but it was fun.

  84. Cadmus Thebes-avatar

Still a cool game with lots a pretty art, but they're leaning really heavily towards pay-to-play, especially since FEH Pass came out.

It has been an incredible experience. As a veteran Fire Emblem player is so enjoyable to find most of my favorite characters to play casually in this game. I've still gotta say, that certain units from the begining of the game, like Legendary Lucina, are falling behind in terms of performance due to new content added to the game. But aside from that, everything tends to be wonderful. Once you reach lunatic the game certainly poses a challenge for every player. Certainly a job well done.

  86. George Gates-avatar

This is a simple to understand game for those who haven't played a mainstream Fire Emblem game. There are bug fixes and interesting updates that occur often. Something that new players need to be aware of is the large 'install' that comes after the tutorial. If I were to add something to this, it would be allowing hero trades between players, even if is between just friends. It could be heroes and/or combat manuals used and, to combat unfairness, the heroes would have to be the same star rating.

  87. Dragoon Prime-avatar

for a phone game its fun and you dont have to spend real money to get good units. nice casual play when I'm bored. The drop rates seem a bit low though but not an impossible humpty make your +10 units

Great game, but I think they should invest more in expanding the single player modes instead of focusing so much on online gameplay.

  89. SaiyanJediXeno-avatar

FEH was great at first, but Nintendo's current monetization tactics are horrid. Trapping quality-of-life features behind a monthly subscription is terrible. The lack of orbs compared to FEH's early days is also noticeble. FTP players currently get around half of what we used to. Best not mention the lackluster 3rd anniversary. Despite these issues, I still consider FEH to be a good game. The gameplay is fun, the storyline is entertaining and the character art is superb.

  90. Neo Smith-avatar

Despite having played for a few years over two accounts, I have to say this game isn't as good as it could've been. Balancing is horrible and a great unit may be powercrept within months. May take up 1 GB to 2 GB of storage. I love the graphics, but can't justify giving so much storage for a mobile game. I came in expecting this to be Pay to Win, as it's a gacha game, but even QoL features are behind paywalls. As for performance, frequent crashes. Slow. I was barely able to play at times.

  91. Onyx Angel-avatar

Changed my rating for the fact that kid Caeda broke the weapon triangle. Blue beats red, not the other way around. Lots of modes to occupy your time. Devs give you orbs and from time to time summon tickets. Competitively you can reach a decent place even if you don't spend. Maybe make the first full round of summoning half the amount of orbs on those flash banners, the one day only banners. Thanks for making game Bluestacks enabled. Good game, mild complaints.

  92. Blake Burnett-avatar

I love this game. I have been playing FEH since it came out and I still play with a F2P account and I love that that's possible. Good job Nintendo

  93. Rhys Bedford-avatar

The game starts out pretty well. The gameplay is good, most of the art is really nice, and in the beginning you have plenty of options to grind for orbs. However, after a month, the game starts to become a little stale. Grinding starts to become very annoying at the higher difficulties, aether raids start to get harder, and the gotcha summoning system makes it hard to get the heroes that you want. The game starts prompting you to pay money to get good. But I still manage to have fun with it.

  94. Loan Nguyen-avatar

The game started ok in its first year. But the the developer has repeatedly made terrible decisions that have made the playerbase unhappy. They never learn from their mistake and take forever to make any changes. There are way better games that actually listen to players. This game is riding on Fire Emblem franchise and wouldn't make money any if it was anything else. This game is a waste of time and will invalidate any new unit you might acquired within a few weeks.

  95. Dan-avatar

The game is fun for a while, but tends to get stale. A new unit is released, massively outperforms old units, you try to get them but end focusing on some other unit. Even if you're happy with your favorite character, you need to summon the new units to give skills around to keep up with the difficulty. As it stands, I would only reccomend for very casual play.

Kinda fun if you've played the other fire emblem games, but otherwise just your run of the mill gatcha game. The recent addition of the feh pass, which locks quality of life changes and the best heroes behind a paywall, makes the game a bit pay to win. Plus the feh pass is super expensive, at about 10$ USD, which is definitely not worth the price.

  98. Victoria Truong-avatar

I've played this game since release on an account that was terminated because I lost the password but coming back to the game after nearly a year away, the new pass feature is upsetting. I'm a huge fan of this game and all the work put into it but it seems like a slap to the face to see more pressure on players to pay. I understand the point of needing money but dangling pass benefits in front of players and longtime fans is just rude.

  99. PeachyPorl 21-avatar

It is such a good game because it tells you all about all the other Fire Emblem games, summoning for heros in fun, and It has really good stories to play!

  100. KrimsonKatt-avatar

Changed to 1 star because of the Feh pass. Not happy. Edit: Now I can't even freaking acess the game. It says "external storage required" despite of me having an 80 GB SD card installed. Not only that, but when I try to move the game to my SD card, it doesn't work and says "can't transfer app. Internal error." I'm using a Moto G4 Play. Please help me so I can go back to playing my favorite game!
