Very technical, I like it, it's the best and I can do anything with this, it's able to give you the best quality with low file size, unlike most apps. I suggest trying crf, but vbr is also good. A big problem I had was that openh264 (I believe the default) kept giving me screen tearing (not vsynced), the video is not interlaced. I switched to h264 and that fixed it.

It's ffmpeg. It has a frontend that lets you encode and scale videos to different sizes and formats. You can enter your own command line options and save them. It's not a simple brainless "app" but if you know what ffmpeg is, and how to use it, this is what you want.

Very powerful tool ! ...and quite simple as well ( for me ) You have to be a bit advanced to use that but you've a full control what you're doing.

I had a video in mp4 video codec & dolby audio codec. I tried to convert it in avi & dolby. It showed error. But it was converted in avi with mp3 audio codec successfully. How to get dts codec? This app has no guidelines in it for amateur users, that how to use this app? If you can add a small tutorial in the app about "How to use it", that will be a great help & then five stars for sure.

Very easy to use with the built-in presets and probe feature. There's still room for improvement though as it crashes every once in a while--not too frequent that I'd uninstall it.

Some may think this is like a black background and full of words so it will be difficult to Convert, even I've felt it first! But this is awesome!!! Mostly I need to Convert the my videos to Xvid format and Avi container to play it in my Old DVD player!!! And actually I used many Encoder apps But I tried this for instance to let's try, I thought this to will not work But actually this works much better than PAID APPS š. NO ADS š„ I CAN GIVE UNLIMITED STARS IF SUCH EXIST IN PLAYSTORE š .REALLY

pretends to allow copy/paste for a custom ffmpeg command but doesn't actually work. no idea if this is a "paid feature", it doesn't tell you. no copy paste makes this app completely useless.

Two suggestions: 1) Include the batch run time in the log. 2) Update the conversion templates. E.g. H265 includes -q:v 5 which does nothing. Should tweak H265 quality with -crf flag.

Works perfectly just like the PC version of FFmpeg, it's command-line and advanced. It can compress video files without losing that much quality, can remux a WEBM file, and a lot more. It's also a good thing that it also updates frequently with the original FFmpeg, and the ads aren't intrusive unlike the other apps. But there's something missing, can you add an option to specify trim points without having to go to non-gui mode? If you do that, I'll rate it 5 stars instead of 4.
