The Great Barrier Reef is a Marine Protected Area, rules apply to ensure its protection, including where you can go and what you can do.
The Eye on the Reef App includes Marine Parks zoning and the ability to record and share wildlife sightings with the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and others.
Using the free Eye on the Reef App you can:
- access marine parks zoning maps
- know where you are and what activities are allowed in each zone
- use the app outside of mobile range
- find out more about your favourite Great Barrier Reef wildlife
