Die App richtet sich an alle, die die schönen Seiten der Stadt Essen auf dem Rad oder zu Fuß entdecken möchten.
Mit ihrer Unterstützung finden sie zu den Grünanlagen Essens, zu Wäldern und zu Naturschutzgebieten oder den alten Zechen, die inzwischen ein Zuhause für Kunst und Kultur geworden sind. Zu jeder Sehenswürdigkeit gibt es Text und Foto. Aber auch weitere Service-Informationen sind enthalten: Biergärten, Restaurants und Imbissbetriebe, Fahrradgeschäften, verschiedene Rad-Verleihstationen im Stadtgebiet oder E-Bike-Ladestation werden aufgeführt.
Diese App soll nicht eine weitere Fahrrad-Navigations-App sein, von denen es schon unzählige gibt. Vielmehr ermöglicht sie die Navigation ausschließlich auf den Themen- und Erlebnisrouten von Essen und liefert alle Informationen zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten und Service-Stationen an den Radwanderwegen von ESSEN.Neue Wege zum Wasser.
