What's new
This release addresses a bug preventing correct functionality of the audit screen's cut button and includes various minor UI improvements for a better user experience.
Description
eQuip Mobile Asset Manager makes it easy to find equipment located in sites and locations in your enterprise. This Android application is used to work remotely to find, inventory, and audit equipment at your locations. Using a built-in camera barcode scanner, you can read asset tags and identify the equipment, or verify that the equipment is at the location where it is specified. It’s a simple, touch-oriented UI that allows you to quickly navigate to your sites and locations.
Use this app with eQuip! Cloud or On-Premise Installations. If you do not have an eQuip! Cloud account, you can sign up for a free account (limited to 100 items) directly from this application or purchase an account with up to 10,000 items.
We recognize that different organizations may use their Enterprise Asset Management software in different ways. The way they organize the assets often depends on the department that is leading the asset management function. In some organizations, this function resides in the CIO’s office. In other organizations, this function resides in facility manager’s office. It’s also common to see the property management function as an integral part of each business unit, and they tend to organize and manage their assets as part of their business operations.
New features include:
Updated look and feel; user-friendly navigation
If the user discovers that needed location is not in the mobile app, assets can be added to a temporary location
Basic RFID scanning for Android devices with connected Zebra scanner
Improved error handling with meaningful feedback for users
Updated, stable data structure to prevent data problems and errors
Faster syncing
Audit search bar is no longer cleared during audit unless auditing using Bluetooth scanner
“Clear” feature added to search fields to remove entire text quickly instead of backspacing
Department now displayed on summary view of scanned asset
Site, location, sublocation, and department now displayed in summary view of assets in audit list
Scanner no longer scrolls down the screen on department selection
The user no longer has to scroll up on a shorter list of audit items after accessing a longer list
Sublocation no longer appears incorrectly as GUID value when saving from audit screen
Database is no longer limited to 50MB on iOS devices
