Unnecessarily needs full permissions to your device. I echo what others have said. Why would this app need permissions to make phone calls? The record audio and full access to contacts can and should be an opt-in permission based on a user's choice to use those functions (not prevent use of the app completely if not allowed). I am returning the device based solely on the app's overly needy permissions. I would correct this if you want to sell your device to people who care about security.

The older version was better. The latest version on lists files in the long direction of the screen and does not allow rotation of the screen. If there was an alternate to access the drive on Android, I would use it.

Even after an update, app won't launch without access to contacts or to make/receive calls. This bait-and-switch holds my >$100 hardware hostage now, because I refuse to allow my contacts to get spammed or allow a third party to make phone calls on my behalf. This requirement was not disclosed on the retail packaging. Strongly considering a Federal Trade Commission complaint.

App works as it's supposed to. Easy to set up and configure, provided you read the manual. Simple matter to change the SSID, HOST, and account passwords to keep randoms from accessing your data in public. Guest mode is pretty convenient, they only have access to what you make available in the shared directory. As mentioned earlier, change the default credentials unless you want someone accessing your data.
